this is an interesting question for me because i'm synesthetic. which means my senses are all screwed-up in my brain and i literally, unconsciously see music in colors. so, yeah, to answer this one i'm just going to tell you that a lot of their songs are shades of deep purples, blues, and indigos. their lighter shades are usually those of yellows.

ahahaha naturally 39 is the band with, you know, the weeping violins and the lyrics perpetually bemoaning disillusionment. I'm gonna go with "yes, there motherfucking is." "Waltz," "Burying Song," and "When I Was Drinking" make me nostalgic for sad things I'm not even certain happened to me.
