I think there's a midpoint, I can "cope with "mainstream Biffy"" to a degree, but I'll just listen to more of the older stuff rather than "quit listening"! It's like you said though, Puzzle and OR are fun albums, couple of good songs, not as good as the old stuff obv but still listenable. I have faith that their b-sides at least will continue to please :)
