Glad to hear it! Mostly. Don't choke! And yes, I'm mostly quitting those for health reasons - the rest would be academic. Too much alcohol and not enough sleep makes for ineffective notes and attention spans during lectures. And glad you hear you lost weight! Just don't turn into that guy we both know. Though a skinny archlich is also a scary thought. Thank you! (and hey allows whitespaces?) I'm not terribly interested in becoming President - the current P and V.P. are doing an excellent job and, quite frankly, I'm not nearly as nice and compassionate as they are. The only shows I've watched recently were Hidamari Sketch and Psycho Pass. I think you'd like the latter - one of the writers is Urobochi Gen, who did Madoka (which I disliked but never mind). I'm looking forward to the second season of Railgun that's coming out in April. Good luck with work! Though, as always, I think you'll be fine. Chin up! MASSAGU GO!

How's the new year treating you? I'm trying to turn over a new leaf by not drinking alcohol or eating meat anymore. The new semester is kicking my butt - I might actually have to get in-school tutoring. The shame! On the upside (downside?!) I've been voted as the new secretary of our school's anime club (it's a dubious honor given our club's social standing), so I guess I'll actually have to be social. Hope things are going well for you, as usual!

Sounds like things are going (mostly) good on your end. :D But keep on fighting, big brother! I believe in you! Yeah, everyone's getting all excited over the elections and such, but it's pretty hard for the incumbent to be outvoted. They'd have to mess up very, very badly, and even Bush Jr. wasn't able to get replaced. I have no idea what's going on, though. I should be more ashamed, but there's too much going on. lol. I'm terrible. HIDAMARI SKEEEETCH. Best birthday present ever. :P College is fine, though I'm not doing as well as I'd like. Faito, self!

I LOVE YOU! I shall respond more coherently later on when I am sober. But your sentiment is wholly appreciated! Thank you!

That's okay! If I could just have a hidden pen/pencil in one of my fingers, that would be an amazing start! Also, auto-zoom in my eyes. Also, environmental vs petroleum = MORAL OPPOSITES! I don't want to be contributing to the dark side of capitalism, as much as I love money. Also, job outlook for petrol engin. is poor, so... Anyway, did they really? lol. that's so asian of the three countries. I definitely recall being entirely uninterested during the Beijing Olympics, but that was due to my general apathy/depression + hatred of China/general Chinese populace. I'm sure GB will pick up. I'm just amused that our Michael Phelps wasn't anywhere near his top form from the last Olympics. Poor guy. And oh my, driving! Always exciting. Soon you'll be dodging trucks and flying helicopters like a pro!

I thought about it more and the chance to work on cybernetic implants, or at least their prototypes, as a biomedical engineer is actually pretty awesome. I want to be a cyborg! Environmental engineers survey land and see how they can do things like reduce pollution, take care of biohazardous material, etc etc. I think there's something called petroleum engineering but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I worked as one, despite the fact they get paid 20% more than the average engineer. And don't give up Yingke! Smile! Faito! And have you watched any of the Olympics? I've only seen the opening ceremony but I've heard traffic lately has been crazy.

Yeah, money-wise, being a student sucks., but on the plus side, once we're both done we'll have plenty fo money, being engineers. Hoo-rah! I was actually thinking of Environmental Engineering, since the job outlook isn't too bad (biomedical is better but... eugh hospitals). I dunno, gay marriage is a serious issue, certainly, but there are so many serious issues that it's hard for me to pick any one in particular anymore to care about. lol. The apathy of our generation, I guess?

Haha. Well, I liked it since the actual gameplay was fun. Compared the usual RPG where the combat is really simple. With this combat is as complex or simple as you want it to be. And I think I do have a steam account but I haven't touched it in years! I've been spending my money on books and work clothes (and tuition and food)... I suppose I'm still living a pirate culture where I don't buy software, which is pretty terrible, I will admit. I've also started listening to an online radio station called Gaydar radio station. It's nothing but remixes of current pop songs, but I seem to like it. Haha. And there's also this bit of news about Chick-Fil-A and people staging a protest against them on August 3rd because of their anti-gay stance. Have you heard anything about it?

Haha, but you are also at a better university than I am, so it's sure to be far more rigorous. And yes! I think I may have left my music on while at class or something... I've also been playing an RPG called "Kingdoms of Amalur". It reminds me of World of Warcraft x Fable. Rather fun!

Oh my! Ganbatte onii-chan~ Congratulations on your exam results, though! Sounds pretty exciting. :> And yes, looking for a place to stay that fits all the requirements is tough. We were looking at houses a few weeks ago and it was such a headache. I wanted to just give up. (don't ask about it-ugh). Speaking of grades, I've got an A in my last semester. I'm not sure how that transfers over in Britishland, but it's anywhere from a 93-100 for us. \o/ I'm not as stupid as I feared!

Aww. And just when I was starting to get used to the idea of calling you "Yukku-chan"! So now that you've finished with school (congrats!), what are you gonna do?

I think I've gotten better with the presence of guys since working. Odd, but that's how it is. Of course, real life comfort zones don't necessarily equal animated ones, but since being pulled into work drama due to my position, I've started to appreciate males a lot more due to their non-catty personalities. And hey, Yukkuri-face! I'm gonna call you Yukku-chan now. :>

I'll probably watch that slice of life anime about girls. Again. I guess my tastes don't vary, haha (Tari Tari I think it's called?). I never noticed that there were different schools of how to construct anatomy. That sounds pretty difficult, but also kind of exciting? I mean, I like how certain artists draw their people but it never hit me before. But yeah, starting out with the most widely known is always a good idea until you feel confident enough to try other names. What do you actually do these days? Just yukkuri days? :P Wow, I forgot you were in Wing Chun. My memory is awful. :< Proof that we need to meet up again soon! Maybe next summer? And good job on your jog! Jogging/running scares me. Cardio at all terrifies me, although I am in much better shape than I used to be. And DOMS?

  • dotdotdashdash I think? It's what google brought up, anyway, but you probably already have it. And oh man, back on 4chan again? What happened to reddit? I can relate to wanting things quickly, though, due to being able to download things and such RIGHT NAO. If only I could fast forward through my education... As for my techniques, well, I was proud of my twist and axe kicks, which are two kicks that change direction in mid...kick? Also the speed of my hand techniques, and the fact I can climb onto attackers taller than me. That last one is especially fun, but I guess it's not actually a technique? Haha.

Have you thought about buying/borrowing drawing books? They're really helpful, according to my one ex-friend from uni. But yeah, buying "tools" that you may or may not use is fun and exciting but is usually best to wait before investing in one. Though it's a lot easier these days to find reviews and see which budget tablet works best out of the rest. As for taking years... well, any hobby is going to be like that. It took me about 3 years before I could feel any pride in my techniques. But learning each step is also fun. :>

Hmmm. You may have a point there, though I can't say I'm mature. More like, not crippled by depression anymore. Also, Vietnamese sandwiches are delicious! You should try dating a Vietnamese woman who can cook. Or a Vietnamese friend who can. Omnomnom. FlockMod? Neato! Seriously. So are you sticking with digital art or also working on it in the real world? :o Are you thinking of getting a drawing tablet? Wacom tablets can be fairly cheap. Although the recursiveness of drawing your own fapping material is king of... novel? I think I'd get too caught up in the technical details of how I drew it t be enticed by it, if it were me (theoretically). But hey, gogogo for it!

Haha. I see. Yeah, I've been kinda listening to a lot more of the same stuff. As long as it doesn't annoy me, I'll leave it on, I guess? Haha. But I haven't gotten into anything new-new, sadly. College is fine. I probably have the highest grade in class right now, which is a relief. I was wondering if I really was that stupid back when my secondary school grades were terribad due to apathy. Being a (shift) manager at my job is more... "exciting", so to speak. I've learned how infuriating it is when you're in a supervisor position and the people under you are lazy *** on a -busy- day. And they backtalk you. I thought that behavior left after you graduated secondary school? How have you been? Anything new?
