Probably not a bad idea for my first entry… Might give a better idea than my charts, as having deleted a vast amount of music from my hard drive in order to create some space means there's a lot of stuff I can only actually listen to on my iPod.
A: At The Drive-In. Or A Silver Mt. Zion.
B: Bjork/Ben Harper?
C: The Cure, without a doubt. And Coheed. Hmm, this is starting to look suspiciously paired…
D: Death Cab For Cutie/Donavon Frankenreiter
E: Elliott Smith
F: The Flaming Lips
G: Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Glitterati or Guillemots. Too hard to choose.
H: Harry And The Potters deserve this I feel.
I: Iron & Wine
J: José González
K: Kings Of Convenience
L: Lemon Jelly
M: The Mars Volta. Or Massive Attack. Or The Moirai. Possibly My Bloody Valentine. This is hard.
N: Nick Drake
O: Of Montreal
P: The Postal Service
Q: I'm not gonna say anyone for this one, because I can't think of anything I like quite enough to be classified as a 'favourite'.
R: The Rakes & Randy Newman
S: The Smiths, Sigur Rós, Sondre Lerche
T: Thievery Corporation or Trembling Blue Stars
U: Again, no-one beginning with U is liked enough to truly deserve the title of 'favourite'
V: Probably the same for V.
W: Willy Mason
X: X too.
Y: Yo La Tengo
Z: Zero 7
