It's funny, actually it's sort of a long story. My husband got me an iPod dock that's also a clock radio, and I have the Last.fm app on my iPod. So lately I've just been plugging it into the dock, firing up the app, and listening to the station of stuff Last recommends for me. I love the tracks I like because I've never heard of most of these artists before. The recommended stuff is a mixed bag, though, because some of it is crap, heh.

Jenn! Glad to see you. BMSR is great - I don't listen to it alone because it can get repetitive so I have them mixed into my "neo-psychedelia" playlist on random. You're gonna love it. Dealing with a major life change over here at the moment. My boyfriend of 10 years and I broke up just a week ago. I'm trying NOT to listen to much music because I can end up ruining perfectly good music this way and rendering it unlistenable in the future because it gets tainted with negative emotions. Have you ever had that happen? How is life over on your side?

I let my son have access to my second account because he showed some interest in many artists that eMusic supports (not that my wife didn't, but she'd rather I go through the effort to grab tunes instead). He's a bit of a hard rock/head banger fan, but he seems to enjoy it. I went through a phase like that too back in the day...didn't we all? Have a pleasant weekend.
