Shows are in like a week and a half... I'll probably go. Maxwell's not the happiest person with me because I sort of stirred up some stuff with the Knives guys but it was completely true. Hopefully he's as forgiving as I think he is, and by now it's blown over lol

Good news then, it'll probably be the last record they ever do or at least for several years so I hope it's by far the best.

Sevendust aren't working on an album so not sure where you heard that. Clint and Morgan are doing a band/project titled "Call Me No One" and will touring that which I'm pretty stoked about. Sevendust are taking a break and that record will be a 2013 release... Soilwork I'm ecstatic about, as well as new stuff by Testament and other artists who don't just play metal music. Oh yeah and like I mentioned earlier "Band of Brothers" by Hellyeah will be out June 5th

I also remember when I was 4 and my dad bought Far Beyond Driven, just the blue skull artwork and all that... some crazy shit

I had a really crappy # of plays for Pantera too on here at one point but just went on a huge binge of revisiting each record... Vulgar and Far Beyond Driven are my favorites. I don't think I listen to one band or guitar player that doesn't immediately site Dime as an influence (even if they're around the same age) and I'm all about those bluesy sorta riffs, crazy bends, squeals... fast chugging rhythms. The only guy who I liked nearly as much was Rich Ward (of Stuck Mojo) my fav. band from ages 8 to 15.. Rich doesn't play the way he used to anymore but he had the TONE and style that at least was comparable to Dimebag's and that's how I like playing. (Then later on discovered guys like Tom Maxwell, Greg Tribbett and Peter Wichers of Soilwork) I love Clint from Sevendust. Total agreement with your drummers that you listed except I don't like Slipknot at all... and think Jordison's highly overrated as is that band in general. I had the first record but it's immature & for the masses imo.

Yeah I was a freshmen in high school... a lot of douchey wannabe-metal kids didn't get the impact of that moment. Probably because they were too stupid to realize all the bands they listened too wouldn't be there if not for what he did. I also went a long time without listening to Pantera but have very fond memories of their music growing up as an INFANT... I was born in 1990 and at least by age 2 I know I had Cowboys and Vulgar and listened to them all the time. My dad was a musician, it was the MOST groundbreaking metal band since Metallica (imo they shit on them) so I always loved them. But yeah, I had a LONG stretch where I didn't really listen to them very much (right before and around high school) I remember my dad getting Reinventing the Steel when I was 10... but during middle school they'd be inactive for so long and I like Damageplan, sorta but wasn't going nuts over that. When it happened I couldn't listen to Dime, needed time to pass but looking back... easily the GREATEST!

I did enjoy the band man... how your charts don't have Pantera on them though sort of shocks me. More Korn and Limp Bizkit plays than Pantera... you're nuts. All our favorite bands wouldn't be here without Pantera and Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar still fucking own EVERYTHING

I'll do it this weekend... I don't know if you play but Tom's down-picking and insanely how fast he is with technique is challenging to duplicate but I play rhythms like that too because of him. Ever see a live Nothingface video? His right hand is just one big giant BLUR LOL

No problem man, this weekend I may be able to upload a video for you of me playing it and also try and somehow tab that out because I play everything by ear. I LOVE that song and just had it on yesterday in fact. I know the main riff and the middle section, just figuring out some of Tom's choruses' can be weird. Like in Villains its a lot of dissonant, dark open string stuff that can be hard to figure out exactly lol

Yep that's me, Will's preoccupied with Evanescence right now but I'd never rule anything out. Ryan plays really tight, on the record it's Morgan Rose.

Well put, Eye Empire was KILLER last night and I always enjoy seeing those guys (6 times I have now) awesome show, BC was badass! I've listened to Corey Lowery since I was 8 years old and he was in Stuck Mojo (one of my all time fav bands) just a really terrific show. I loved Head Charge in my teens it was a shame they broke up and haven't really put anything out since 2005 but def. happy they are back!

Thanks brother and I must say IT REALLY is. I've crewed (basically if you add it up) for one FLAW tour and then did a Polkadot one a year a half ago and Todd and those guys are extremely difficult to be around. He's a narcissist straight-up... I'm just giving my objective opinions on things and people can go from there... Awesome to see you giving EYE EMPIRE some love on your charts, going to see them tonight. Those are like my boys, love them to death and they are about as TRUE and REAL as it gets as people and musicians in the rock business! I started listening to Corey when he was in Stuck Mojo and I was 8 years old LOL. Pumped to see the Empire tonight, gonna be my 5th or 6th time!

À propos de moi

Mirror mirror, upon the wall I'm asking you
"Who is the most confused of them all?"
Mirror mirror, subservient twin screams back at me "You!"
You sick flawless mime,
I want to break you !!!
Do you reflect me?
Or do I reflect you?
Are you inside of another world?
I wanna break through!!!!
If life's as painful on your side,
I'll break your existence and cut through mine
