Yeah Kendrick was the first thing I listened to departing the south. Flew thru LAX so he and FlyLo felt fitting. Since I've been home it's been mostly all wax though.

Not sure if I'll speak on Fresh. It's a good project. I doesn't hit me like glamour did but then I wasn't living here when Glamour dropped and had to have a friend drive the CD down to me in OR. I heard drafts of most of this a year or so ago, same way with Glamour, so I'm sorta deciphering how I feel about the final masters and sequencing. The only track I could do w/o is "Yommie" - really dig the guest emcees but they don't match the guest bars from Lif and Grives on the first. Perhaps I shouldn't hold it next to Glamour... In 2012 Seattle hiphop it's one of my favs. For 2012 music it's proly not gonna be kept around for consideration in December.

I have been using it more. Are you sure that is a good idea moving your video games to the computer room?...all you need is a mini fridge in there and you will never have to leave that room.

Mmm, not so much. I had essentially forgotten about this site until I got an email notification from you. Not to mention I am bogged down with 16+ GB of new music (now who would all of that be from!?). I should definitely use this more often.

Sorry, not this year... I don't have access to 95+ percent of my music right now.. my personal computer and all external hard drives are in storage, so I only listen to what's on my iPod. I assume that by the time I finally move and set that stuff back up, someone will have already uploaded a compilation.

Man, bought this NAS (Network Attached Storage) from the homie, he had left all his stuff on it. Fucking ridiculous amounts of music, all a side of hiphop I've paid little attention to in years. Grabbing the music off and then formating, 3 tb's about of storage.

Yeah some of it's not easy to find, I found a good chunk of shit. You can get the zipz they've been droppin via Elijh twitter feed. Think they linked to it on their tumblr. has a list of the projects which I used to scour the internets. Had to rip "boo you" off youtube just to give it some play. Proly gonna have to order the 12 on the 16th...

Dope dope... That does sound a lil optimistic but would be fresh. What genres would you do? How many per show? I have a really hard time w/ genres. I was just thinking about it like this funkadelic song I just played is it rock? is it funk? just cause it's in there name? Doesn't sound like the soul music that's pretty damn funky neither. It's all just dope music. Blake is interesting, I've listend through the album once or twice, the eps are where I really need to be but I moved em off the comp I think. Fail. Read what the fork had to say about the Blake LP? Fact & RA did better, more critical takes.

Yeah man, I've just gone for random songs off his site what with 1000+ to choose from it was pretty hit or miss. I briefly thought about trying to get em all, that didn't last. You gonna be around the station on Tuesday? Got some new SOTA I wanna play ya.

Yeah man that cut made my morning. I've been hearing a couple Lunice tracks on shuffle, haven't sat down to watch the doc yet, perhaps right now. He seems to be quite varied in style. The FACT mix from last year is stellar. How'd your Lil B exploration go? Surviving school? Let's get up and burn one, I'm not working much these days hit me up when you are free!

hahahaaha... Oh Lil B. I don't know what's up w/ him. That's kinda the beauty, enter at your own risk. You might be hooked. You might hate it. Kid does work, has like over a thousand songs up on his site for free dl, albums galore. His features on the Danny Brown & Tony Yayo album are cool. "Birth of Rap" i think is what it's called is a dope song. He has cuts in there, it's strange. More of kids doing what they want and creating a viral market. He was in the pack, you know the "Vans" song... So yeah he just has money and makes what he wants. He calls it "Based" - remincest of Anticon, no rhyme schemes. Strange topics. I've dedicated far to much time talking about Lil B just now. Fail. What shit you on these days?
