I'm a British novelist, songwriter, singer, guitarist, and record producer who has had the honour and good fortune to have collaborated with Kim Fowley, Najam Sheraz, Mark Linkous, Mark Tinley, Enrico Coniglio, Yvalian, Josh Woodward, & many indie artists. As long ago as January 1979, the NME hailed me as an exceptional DIY artist worth popularizing. Yeah, I am that old! I've released over 100 albums since 1976, which means I write a lot of songs!

Rather recently, I began writing, recording, and releasing an album-a-month in April 2007 and so far I haven't stopped. Depending on your point of view, that could be a very good or very bad thing! My songs are broadly indie, folk, rock experiments, mainly lo-fi in quality, though since 2006 I've recorded with a combo of digital and analogue.

I offer all of my 750 plus songs for free at various internet music sites, including this one, Jamendo, Last FM, Reverbnation, and others.
