Inspired by Italian giallo, 1960's and 70' horror and s/exploitation movies, this month's mixtape is a collection of (more or less) instrumental pieces. Some of them can be found on soundtracks, written for this kind of film genres. You'll find psychedelic, erotic, bossa, funky, electronic, obscure pieces, full of sax, bells, bongo beats, finger snaps, hammond, flutes, chants and female voices.
To make a proper hommage, I wrote a cheesy story, full of horror stereotypes. Enjoy if you dare to explore the "amorality"!

Vallery, Mina and Nick attend a school trip to a historical lake. School bus is full of young pupils, eager to experiment with the possibilities, that youth brings.
Janko Nilovic - Le Vent Dans Les Algues
On the walk around the lake, the group of three distance from others into the woods to smoke some cigarettes. They got lost. There's no signal on the cell phones. They wander around for quite some time. The night falls, they find themselves in front of a big old house.
Delia Derbyshire - Nightwalker
It is a brothel, a property of a Lady Dyachenko. She invites them in. A 45 years old, high class woman is descendant of a Russian family. Mina notices a beautiful pendant around Lady's neck. The group of teenagers spend their night in a night club which is located in a basement of the house. They watch an erotic performance of a sensual redhead Ivana.

After the show, Lady Dyachenko introduces them to all residents of her house: 3 erotic dancers (redhead Ivana, brunette Ilona and dark haired Irina) and a young, male servant Adrian.

They continue their night enjoying hedonistic performances with other guests of the brothel. Vallery and Nick, under the influence of questionable substances, begin to dance with each other which leads to touching and kissing. Mina observes Adrian and all women.
Piero Piccioni - Psychedelic Mood
Teenagers are wasted. They fall on their beds, intoxicated.
In the middle of the night, Mina is wakened by a male scream. She follows the screams down the corridor.
Camille Sauvage - Enferissimo
She enters a room full of curtains. She walks around quietly untill she sees three silhouettes bending over a motionless body, biting it, moaning in ecstasy.
Bruno Spoerri - Colours
Mina runs out of the room. Fear paralyses her perception. She gets lost in the house while running in the corridors full of doors, curtains, dark corners, colorfull lights, enticing scent and unusual sounds.
Pierre Raph - Bruits Et Voix Dans Le Cimetiere
She wakes up in her bed. Vallery and Nick are up. They explore the house: windows are all veiled with red and golden curtains, walls are full of trophies and stuffed animals arranged in simetrical compositions, lights are positioned wisely, lightning the rooms.
Jaime Mendoza-Nava - The Brotherhood of Satan (End Titles)
Mina separates from Vallery and Nick. She notices young Adrian in the garden, chopping wood, shirtless. She gaze at his firm, strong body. He also has a pendant, similar to the one Lady Dyachenko is wearing. Adrian sees Mina.
Armando Trovaioli - Let's Find Out
He smiles at her, they talk. He explains that women sleep during the day because their night shift, and the screams that Mina heard last night, were probably made by a guest who payed more then just a dance. All the rest was probably just a hallucination or a bad dream.

Dusk falls. Lady Dyachenko appears in a main hall, preparing a program for the night. Dancers are rehearsing. Adrian brings teenagers, they all watch the performances.
Dusty Springfield - Spooky
Lady Dyachenko apologises for discourteousness and invites her guests to a dinner. Ivana, Ilona, Irina and Adrian are all there. Dinner is pleasant but unusual. They are served by hired young, naked girls.
Guido Pistocchi - Café
Mina and Adrian coquette. Redhead Ivana is sitting next to Nick, showing him affection all the time, slightly touching his arms and head. Valery is jealous.

After the dinner Nick and Vallery argue in the room, although they are not a couple. Vallery is making a fuss. While she's insisting to call teachers and parents nobody notice that the doors are slightly opened. Somebody is standing on the corridor, listening.
Keith Mansfield - Teenage Villain
It's 11 p.m. Night club opens. It starts raining. Vallery decides to stay in a room, while Nick and Mina attend the party. The night is, again, very exciting. Redhead Ivana seduces Nick with her silk scarlet scarf. Mina is sitting at the table, watching the action on stage and Adrian at the bar. He brings her a drink, on the house.
Max Gregor - Soul House
Vallery is sobbing in their room. There's thunder and lightning. Angrily, she decides to call home. While strolling down the corridor she hears footsteps behind her. Fear comes over her while she can't see anyone, just shadows.
Caravelli - Jeux de bulles
Vallery starts running. She gets lost in the room with the curtains. Room is dark, lit with just few soft lights. She is very frightened, it seems like something is lurking in the shadows. A pair of hands clings around Vallery's neck and pulls her behind the curtain. We see a silhouette tearing Vallery's dress with a help of a dagger, while biting and stabbing her body. Blood runs down her naked body while she dies in agony.
Sandy Nelson - The Lion In Winter
Ivana seduces Nick. She takes him to one of the rooms where she strips nude. They start making out. She starts tenderly, becoming more and more rough. After a while she bites him, stronger, deeper. Nick starts screaming until he looses his consciusness. Sheets become all soaked in blood.
Doris - You Never Come Closer
Mina and Adrian come together, but she realize that her friends are gone. She starts looking for them around the house. She finds bloody stains and becomes scared. Someone is following her.
François De Roubaix - Les Dunes D'Ostende
Mina runs down the corridor. It seems that the nightmare is happening all over again. Around the corner she runs into Adrian. He tries to calm her down. Adrian takes Mina to his room which is next to Lady Dyachenko's master bedroom. Two rooms are separated with double door, because Adrian has to be at Lady's hand all the time. He kisses Mina's forehead, he caresses her until she calms down and lets her trembling body to Adrian.
Ennio Moriccone - Un Altro Mare
After love-making Mina becomes dizzy. Adrian apologises to her, revealing his slavery under the Lady Dyachenko's spell. Until the spell is not broken, he has to execute every command expressed by his master. All three girls and Lady Dyachenko appear next to him, by the bedside. Adrian steps to his master. She kisses him on the forehead, both cheeks and then on his mouth. Girls crawl like cats on the bed to undress Mina.
The Vampires of Dartmoore - Tanz der Vampire
Adrian opens the doors to Lady Dyachenko's master bedroom. It's filled with smoke and scent of incense. They drag Mina in the middle of the room and lay her down on the altar, covered with silk scarlet cloth. Three girls start to dance in ecstasy around her in transparent garments. Adrian bows to Lady Dyachenko and brings her a casket.
Les Baxter - Black Mass
She opens it and takes out a beautiful golden dagger with a shiny blade. She bursts into a grotesque laugh. Lady Dyachenko raises the dagger above her head and starts treading towards Mina. Mina becomes aware of the situation, she kicks Lady and escapes. Everybody's after her.
Serge Gainsbourg - Danger
They capture her in the main hall. Adrian, under the Lady's influence, grabs her. Mina can't escape. Mina looks Adrian into his eyes. She asks him to try free himself from the spell, in the name of love. She becomes aware of the pendant around his neck. He releases one of hers arms and Mina tears the pendant of his neck. The pendant falls on the floor, broken. Adrian is free. He jumps to Lady Dyachenko. They fight until he drives a dagger into her heart. Dancers starts screaming, they petrify and crumble into a gravel.
Berto Pisano - Kill Them All
Mina and Adrian fell in each others arms. They leave the house, walking into the forrest. Raindrops on the leaves are shining in the morning light.
