    Great list. Only a few I disagree with (mostly because I'm unfamiliar with them) which is rare. I'm going to have to re-listen to Chad VanGaalen's album cause upon first listen I didn't seem to like it as much as some of his earlier stuff. That Starfucker LP is awesome, love it. Oh just wanted to point out that The Tough Alliance came out in May 2007, sweet album though.

    Ah, I see what happened: It was originally released in May 07 as an import only (at least here in the states) and reissued in Sept 08 on Modular. We'll count it as 07 and 08 kind of like In Rainbows. - Have you by any chance heard De La Mancha - Atlas? Kind of melodic-psych-ambient-post-rock with vocals, great album. www.myspace.com/delamancha

    Thanks for the comment Machiventa, I'll check out De La Mancha as soon as possible. Cheers for the update on the Tough Alliance, I was using the Modular re-issue as that was when the album became available over here.
