Hi Fidelity is bad for the wallet

I'm reading Nick Hornby's Hi-Fidelity at the moment, and I blame it completely for the ten (10!) albums I bought last Saturday...

Elliott Smith was top of the bill, with four purchases ( Elliott Smith, Roman Candle, XO and Figure 8 ).

There was also Based on a True Story, St. Eustacia, ...Best II, Closing Time, The Main Event, and finally, after going to see her last Wednesday, My Favourite Letters by Alice Russell. (I've got Under The Munka Moon but hadn't got the new one.)

Somehow I don't think Rob would like Elliott Smith. he's still wonderful though. Hmmm, you're probably right. I meant that I was more inspired by the book to listen to lots of music, rather than listen to the music in the book, if that makes sense ^_~
