So I don't really listen to Radiohead and I haven't listened to Thom Yorke's solo effort either. I did however stumble across the article on Pitchfork (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I like the news and reviews, but no, I do not base my entire listening habits around them) about Yorke's iTunes playlist.
He listens to cool stuff. But I couldn't help laughing to myself when reading his commentary about Madvillain and Quasimoto.
quasimoto's way of constructing tracks is like nothing else
Mr. Yorke, the Lord Quas is the alter ego emcee of Madlib, one half of Madvillain. The album you speak of is a Madvillain album, a colloboration between MF DOOM and Madlib. Gah! (Mind you, I guess it's confusing to think about for a guy who probably doesn't have all that much time to figure this stuff out.)
My rant's over.
Also, I have hit well over 41000 tracks since September of 2005. This is exciting.
Also, Deerhoof is coming on the 2nd. I am super excited.
