I only just learned about Akiko. Well, I heard one of her songs a while back, but it was only after buying Love Life on a whim that I realized how magnificent she is. :-) Regarding her name, you can "suggest a correction" to an artist name on the profile page. I did, and said Akiko Yano should be 矢野顕子. Whether Last.fm takes much notice of people moaning about corrections though, I don't know!
