Hi mizry! Great musical taste! I need to check out some of the artists in your library. I am curious to know what you would think of my friends' band, MANKIND: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bedN-v9QMwc . Cheers from Sweden

You have listened to over 1000 different artists. I wonder if you could name 1000.

Wikipedia speaks the truth. Doom! by DOOM was released earlier this year on Think Differently. Not quite a mixtape, but mostly excellent and well-worth hunting down.

With the checkmark and the X on it? Yeah, I have that one too. :P I went through a giant Radiohead stage where I'd listen to them every single day for two years, so I became kind of obsessed and bought a lot of shirts. If you want that shirt, I'm pretty sure they sell it at Backstage in Masonville mall (since you apparently live in London).

absolutely. i definitely feel your pain. i have started to find people with similar music taste only recently and it makes me pretty happy. and by people, i mean like, 2 other people! but yeah, it's still great. and one of them goes to huron, so it's pretty cool. at the risk of sounding like a creeper, feel free to add me on facebook (facebook.com/alueda) if you want. it seems like we'll be attending a lot of the same shows anyway, so it'd be cool. :)

oh, really? that's awesome. i'll be in my second year at Western this fall too, although I'm changing my major to Criminology so my first year was almost.. completely, a waste haha. i was at the maps & atlases show in Toronto tonight and met two other kids from UWO who like some pretty sick bands. makes me wonder why it's so impossible to actually meet people with good music taste... in school!

Hahaha, sorry. I saw it at the end of your twitter at the top of your page. I have a shirt that says that on it!

maybe it was just my area but i thought there would be a lot of older fans around. that guy sounds awesome and he'll always have the best drug related anecdote at a concert. i was definitely in diapers in '91 and only got into pavement a few years ago hah. the hip priest shoutout (and the whole encore really) had me grinning. and you get to see them again at Osheaga. jealous.

I liked that it was breezy for beach house’s set, which was kind of fitting for the Teen Dream stuff. Waiting for band of horses to finish sucked, but it was worth it because bss were phenomenal (feist!). Of course Pavement’s set was SO GOOD. It didn’t rain, and they played debris slide! Also, Nastanovich = hero. I think it’s going to be hard to top the island concert as far as summer shows are concerned.

Umm, like, totally. If I can get tickets. Let's not make this a repeat of the Spoon situation!

no worries! said shout was caps lock ridden because deerhunter/spoon have this effect. i have to say your charts are also pretty spectacular. and extensive (stuff dates back from 2005, damn).

i could not see exactly what a kneeling bradford was doing to britt's guitar, but i suspected that. NOTHING EVER HAPPENED WAS BRILLIANT.

Yeah, I love it! It's probably my favourite Metric album. It's a shame they never play anything off it during their shows. It's like the forgotten album. Ah well.

For S&tBs check out the classics: Kaleidoscope and Juju. But I've always had a soft spot for their covers classic Through the Looking Glass for some reason.
