In 1997, Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani, AKA “Duvdev,” combined forces in Haifa, Israel to form the internationally renowned group Infected Mushroom. Together, they helped pioneer psychedelic trance in the electronic dance music scene and also remixed multiple tracks from legendary bands like L.A.'s The Doors.

Their latest homage? heroes the Foo Fighters whose 2007 hit "The Pretender" gets the treatment on Infected Mushroom's new album Army of Mushroom, out May 8.

“Slowly, the Foo Fighters grew on me and 'The Pretender' was a big song that me and Erez really like,” says Duvdev of the cover. The Foos song actually has the same BPM as a typical drum and bass track -- 174 -- making it a perfect fit for a twist on the original.
