Melo friendly carrots, cakes and tea streaking over the ocean... thank you for the experience of blue grass hip hop.. mouth open in amazment, defying description, i wonder what hard core blue grass souls think of it though! Now, where did I leave cowboy boots and 10 gallon hat?

Welcome to the Americana group. We're 60% as popular as Celtic Punk I see. Good reality check if we should get too big for our britches.

Check out Graham Lindsey. He did the leavin' Wisconsin for the Rocky Mountains thing, too.

I've used output from GPS in GIS mapping, but I've stayed away from the devices because I knew once I started I would spend myself silly. Garmin has a good reputation. I've used Trimbles on demo but I'm not sure if they have a consumer-grade model. You want drop-resistent, screen resolution helps in the sun. rechargable batteries would be nice, and I imagine some have better PC interface than others so you can d/l coordinates.

It is slightly odd when something appears out of context, in particular when the familiar context should be considered odd and the out of context should be considered normal. Then again, the norm is simply average, and where's the fun in that?

"To many westerners, any country music played at taverns is cowboy music. In contrast, to working cowboys and ranch people, cowboy songs are those whose stories tell the occupation of riding horses and raising cattle." -Hal Cannon, http://fieldnoteswest.com. See also: Pop Wagner, and strange as it might seem, Michael Martin Murphey walks the cowhand walk. Ian Tyson comes to mind as a modern archaic but I'm mostly familiar with covers of his stuff.
