Sorry for the late reply - Ah, so, you're 100% white and nothing else. And here I thought you were a half breed, whoops. You sure know a lot of your background Russian heritage, so that's cool. I like Russian people, so that automatically means that I like you already, ha. Russia and Germany are my top places to visit, and if I ever do decide to travel to Russia, the first thing I'll do is check out Irkutsk, just because you said so :). I've been listening to a lot of DJ Shadow's shit lately and it got me thinking about your Tumblr post, of his performance at China. And man, what a dick he was, I hope you gave him boo's and the finger. I totally lost respect for him now. Good post by the way. I'm currently living in the state of Massachusetts located in the east coast. I was originally born at Los Angeles, California until was 6 years old and had to moved. You should visit me sometime, if you're ever close to the area. Your English vocabulary is impressive, who taught you?

True, true. Most countries have their own unique thing going on. And assuming adjusting to their environment and lifestyle would be a difficult learning task to follow, some harder than others, I'm sure. What's your ethnicity by the way? Because it looks like your of Asian and Caucasian descent *wink*. Yeah, sure, what type of genre are you craving most? I've been listening to a lot of ambient music, like, Infinite Scale, Pale Sketcher, Sabi, Undermathic, and Flexe. I think you might like them, we are after all off the scale super compatible, haha. I could recommend indie bands, but I'm not sure if you grove that kind of music. You're more than welcome to browse my library, if you want.

The Album Leaf sounds good. I've heard their music before. I saw Microfilm at the old Hopscotch in Dalian back in 2008. French band, right ? They're not bad, and had good visuals, but their music was a little predictable, too much "within its genre" perhaps...?

it's working fine. sometimes cuts out, but that's just China... how do i get a list of upcoming events though. it seems too much hassle to search on beijinggigguide.com, and then have to manually search for that event in last FM. is there a kind of "event feed" for each city that people can subscribe too ?

Cheap? Like how much was it when you bought yours? You probably got a nice steal of a deal on it. Yours maybe an old model, but it's still a kick-ass camera. I'm very picky when it comes to buying stuff from internet and real stores, so it's going to be a very difficult challenge for me decide, eh. Have you ordered something off the net and once it arrives & open it, you painfully regret it afterwards? That's usually how it goes when I purchase shit online. It sucks. I think if I ever go to China I'll be going there just for a visit and not live there. But you're going have to elaborate on the "china is insane" part, like what's big hype over there? Are we Americans really missing out? Please enlighten me. It seems that you're making the right choices over there, risks or no risks, you're going to places and perhaps having a promising bright future for yourself. Well, I'm happy for you, Anya. Yeah, those square watermelons were odd weren't they? haha. Yep, I'm majoring Animal Sciences.

I searched Samsung GX 20 on eBay.com and there's only used ones that are WAY over my wanting price range. That Samsung camera looks freaking sweet, so I understand why is worth so much. I'll definitely keep an eye on it, and search for better affordable prices on different sites. I'll note every helpful advice you've told me, like the different variety types of lenses which I didn't even thought about acquiring. I appreciate the help, so thank you so much! Yeah, I see that you're living in China, which is awesome. I've always wondered what it'll be like to live there, including Japan. How did a Russian girl end up living there, though? Are you an exchange student? I heard about China banning a lot of US websites, like YouTube, Google, etc. I really don't get why though. I've used proxy before, I can recommend you to a few proxy sites if you want. I'm following you on dumblr, but don't follow mine, it's garbage, haha.

You're welcome! I'm saving up money for an expensive camera, between the price range of 500-650 dollars. What kind of brand camera did you use to take the pictures from your Flickr account? They look sharp, and crystal clear. When I browse through galleries like yours and others, they kinda make me want to pursue a career in becoming a photographer and start my own company one day, but who knows. You don't spent a lot of time here? Are you just too busy to check up on things or update things? Real life must be keeping you really occupied, I bet. Haha, glad you like my sheep, I found it on tumblr aka dumblr. ;)
