You know I'm extremely picky about certain things, like stereo instead of joint stereo and all of that shit. But damn, ain't this 1000x better than the previous rip... great sound quality.

Lol I do exactly the same. I sometimes download FLAC rips only to convert them to 320kbps or v0. But I've seen false rips around the internet. I guess this just isn't the case since it's a private tracker. I've been desperately searching for some quality Rush rips, since there's so much transcoded crap around the net.

I'm quite pretentious when it comes to audio quality. But not to that point. I can't really notice any substantial difference between a 320kbps mp3 and a FLAC file. You may however notice it by playing the music on some high-end HI-FI system. I have plenty of space in my external HDD, so having a library full of albums in FLAC wouldn't be a problem. I just don't see the point, especially considering they wouldn't be compatible with my iPod.
