Pain of Salvation is my most scrobbled band, as you can see, but that doesn't mean they're the band I've listened to the most! Since Opeth's songs are much longer, they're third in my charts even though they're the band I listen most of the time…

I'm a little upset about people @ Last.fm, they only listen to things someone else listens and that way many bands have been ignored for too long. Some of those bands are just not popular, others are criminally underrated and most of them you just don't have mp3s to listen to.

Montebello Massacration

Yes, my friends, as we all already imagined, Sway sucked badly and he got massacrated because of that. You should have seen his face while the angry crowd broke his bones one by one, just before he passed out due to the awful pain (I must confess this is the nicest sound I've heard from him).

Symetrica were awesome except for Swaynerd, VikingR sadly passed away a few days ago so he couldn't perform (R.I.P. the homie) and Big Momma Swaybird of course sucked.

Riverside are one of my favourite bands although they have only released two albums (out of myself and second life syndrome) and an EP (voices in my head). Their sound is some sort of mix between progressive rock and metal, but rock mostly and what they do they do great. Well, after 6 years expecting Angra to come back and play in Chile, they finally did. And it was great.

The supporting band was Human Factor, a Chilean power metal band and I must admit they suck. Every song was exactly like the previous one, as many power/melodic metal bands. The male guitar player wants to by Yngwie Malmsteen and the only good thing about them is the female guitarist who isn't a top model, but at least she's a rocker woman.

Well, I almost forget about it, but I've been registered for a year here.
In this time, my taste is clear and I like prog, no doubt of it, specially prog metal.
My top 10 artists are Pain of Salvation, Opeth, Threshold, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Enchant, Angra, Fates Warning, Blind Guardian and Riverside.
I've also made many friends, discovered new bands, known when the new releases came and most of all, I enjoyed music. I still do.

Well, happy anniversary to me and I expect to have many more.
