heyyyy j.sweenyyy you were a bit of a slacker! but i'm good thanks how are you? Sucks you missed A&J but here is the link to my youtube page, I uploaded a few from the night, the new song is incredible! http://www.youtube.com/user/kateee90?feature=mhum I went to see Matt Corby at the Northcote the other day and what really surprised me was the opening act called Passenger, he is actually amazing (just quietly I may have cried a little during his last song!) But I love his songs "Golden Thread" and "Bloodstains" just to name a few. But deff have a listen you'll love him. What'd you think of the laneway lineup? I'm not overly impressed! last years was so much better! Loved all your song suggestions! You never fail me there haha another song i'm loving is "Where Have You Been - Manchester Orchestra" I also want you to check out Boy and Bear if you haven't already, they're very Mumford and Sons! Hope work has settled down for you! Any upcoming gigs? xx

Heyyyy! I'd love to spend some time in Europe and you did it around about my age too, so maybe I'll look into it. Sounds like your a bit of a travel bug! Your business sounds like fun too! sounds like it keeps you busy though. I am obsessed with Crave You and Rock it! At the moment I'm working at a nursing home as a Div2Nurse. I did my one year tafe course last year so I'm just working a bit now and saving up a bit of money, I'm really happy with how it's going though! I saw Laura Marling at the HiFi a few weeks ago and I have to say she is amazing! I've got A&J soon, hope you managed to find some tickets! annnnd I also got tickets to see Washington, loving the album! Have you got anything lined up? Okay so heres a few randoms for you Seaweed and also Beautiful Morning Light - Fruit Bats. World News and also Cubism Dreams - Local Natives and I also got Boy & Bears EP which is awesome! So if you can get your hands on that definitely do so! annnd have an excellent weekend! xx

I'm so glad you were impressed with Taken by Trees (I saw how much they feature on your recently listened tracks! haha) , you set the bar so high with Sea Wolf. I had a listen to Explosions in the Sky, I think it for any all instrumental music you need to be in a certain mood, but Song for our Fathers was amazing none the less. And what kind of job do you have that allows you to listen to music while you work? I'm incredibly jealous! Haha you reckon I should start with Europe? Have you been? So as I'm writing this I'm watching a movie and just heard a track that caught my attention and downloaded straight away. Have a listen to "This Is The Thing" by Fink (also just listened to "Sort of Revolution"). Reminds me a bit of Bon Iver! :) enjoy the weekend! x

Yeah apparently the gig was amazing, you should see the photos, she was standing about a metre away from them! That's awesome that you travelled through South America, I have a friend in Columbia at the moment too, she's loving it there. Would love to go travelling through there one day. The music there sounds pretty sweet too but I can imagine how you would have missed your own playlist! (I can tell you missed the XX! ) Have you managed to get any A&J tickets yet? I listened to "You're a wolf" and love it! I feel like I need to retaliate and suggest "My Boys" by Taken By Trees. She's sort of similar to Lykke Li. Sorry about the late response, my internet has been down!

the xx did have a side show in melbourne! i think it was at the corner - they also had an intimate gig at polyster records that my friend was lucky enough to go to. But I do agree with you, it wasn't the perfect setting for their kind of music! Yes! i caught A&J at the Palace, soooo good! It was the first time I had seen them live and I was amazed at how good they were. I've actually got tickets to go see them again in September, stoked to be seeing them twice in one year! South America, wow! That's really cool, what are you doing there? x

hey. :) sorry i haven't answered you yet on facebook. i'm quite busy - like always. ;) i'm working a lot and i'm going on holidays three times within the next three months. that's why, i have some more work to do at the moment. hopefully, i'm flying to greece tomorrow night. i'll answer you on facebook as soon as i get back next weekend. but before that: you must listen to "blind pilot". i love their album "3 rounds and a sound"! when i do not listen to them, i'm listening to your suggestion (mumford & sons) - which is quite nice as well. it's pretty cool to have a "pen pal" at the other side of the world whose musical taste is so similar to mine! :) have a great week!
