Listening again right now. I like the slower tempo songs better. Things like In Your Light and I Feel Better sound a little too boppy for me. But the first 4 or 5 tracks are great! Sounds much better on headphones too.

Just read that Gotye is Belgian-born. (So am I!) Have you heard the album? I've only heard the single once, and it's been floating through my head since then so I've been considering buying the album... Any thoughts? And - how's life? :)

I got Social Network now and am enjoying it, don't have Girl w/ Dragon Tattoo yet. I like Trent's instrumental stuff a lot, but then I listen to instrumental stuff a lot and I don't always like the angry vocals he does. Have you come by my site yet? It's up and running now!

Yeah, I think I should check them out. I love Ghosts. I collect instrumental stuff to read/write to, and that album is just so unique and atmospheric. Love it.

have you heard/do you own the soundtracks of The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross? I heard a few tracks, and it sounded very much like his Ghosts album, which I love, so I was thinking about getting them.

I need to give it another listen. I think I wanted it to be another Tamaryn, and it wasn't, but it's still good for what it is. And yes, do check out that dEUS track - on speakers/headphones with good bass. It's brilliant!

You know, I know you've discovered dEUS, but I've never heard you mention their track "Pocket Revolution"... have you heard it? It's one of my favorite tracks - amazing bass, great vocal.

It's good, but not as great as I'd hoped. Kinda somewhere between Siouxsie and NIN, gothy with drum machines, sometimes a bit retro sounding like the xx. The song I heard before is the best one on the album, but I'm still happy I got the whole thing. Going to need a few more listens!
