    aaaah you're the most awesome person ever, and i hope that totally translated in the 'aaaaah'. i got 'Streethawk' yesterday and I can't stop. It's so Mountain Goats meets 70's classic rock meets this ridiculously perfect voice and i just can't. "The Bad Arts" and "Virgin With a Memory" are current favorites, but the whole thing is amazing and the songwriting is way on point. This is obviously my longwinded way of saying thanks. So thanks!

    any chance you could recommend some Destroyer tracks and/or records for a semi-beginner? (listened to Kaputt briefly and i loved "Savage Night at the Opera", but then i got all lazy.) your post on "Painter In Your Pocket" convinced me that I should at least give Dan Bejar another shot.

    Reminded me of All My Friends, pt. 2 haha. Just without the piano workout for the poor son of a bitch who has to play it. And the Dance Yrself Clean track, at the start, he sounded like Phil Elverum for some reason, and I loved it. Should be a cool album though. I haven't given Drunk Girls too many spins yet though because it didn't give me too much excitement. We'll see soon enough.
