Here a complete (kind of) list of all the CDs I bought during 2007. This is the year I got really 'into' music. The bulk of these are TMBG, but I tried to leave those all at the bottom. I hope you guys leave messages or comments, this took me a loooong time to collect and put together. Oh, and just for my fun, anything denoted with a '*' means it was a digital download, like from iTunes.

And I figure this one has special mention
The Else, I bought this album 5 times this year! A new record! Once digitally, once for me, once for my friend, I bought the vinyl, AND I bought a signed copy at my show.

So, this is all the music I've obtained this year, roughly. There is an extroadinarily high chance that there are some more that I missed around my room somewhere, it's kind of a mess.
Also, this list does not include my songs from Jonathan Coulton's podcast, indiviual songs bought off iTunes, several live concerts, the entire discography of Mundanes, and I think there was more.
I just did the count. There is exactly 100 albums here!

Happy new years! I'm trying to remember everything I was going to say... Oh yeah, I totally convinced you to buy The Velvet Underground collection! Score! Do you like The Violent Femmes? And what is this Prolonging the Magic*? Man, I don't think I could even remember what CDs I bought this year.

Zep-Happy new years too! 62 of them? We are pretty impressive folk, eh? :D Ana-Oops, I meant The Magic Is You... 'Prolonging The Magic' is an album by CAKE I bought this year... I'm probably too lazy to fix it though. You know what? I didn't care for the Violent Femmes :( But I think it was probably my choice in CD, I bought that one when I was with you guys, and Zep recommended I try out their first album,so I think I'll tryot o find their debut before I decide to hate them. It's not on iTunes yet though :( I definitelty didn't remember all the CDs I bought this year, I had to go through my ENTIRE room, then my ENTIRE CD binder, then ALL my cases. What the funny thing is, that there's like, 5 that are still sealed, haha.

You have such good taste in music. You have inspired me to buy more music, and to make a list of all the albums I've accumulated. But, let's be honest, the former is FAR more likely than the latter. If only I weren't so lazy... Anyway, good on ya! Keep the music party going in aught-eight!

Yeah I have sort of a personal connection to the band, since I know Gordon Gano's sister, so I've tried to listen to more of the late Femmes stuff than most people I think. It's still hard for me to get into. But there are little nuggets of brilliance here and there. I think Brian Ritchie is such a creative musician and so much of their sound derives from his unique bass playing. Listen to Life is an Adventure or their version of Do You Really Want to Hurt Me? from New Times - the bass is so cool. OK, I'm definitely going to listen to some Femmes now.
