I see a lot of myself in Brian Wilson, I really feel like I relate to him more than any other rockstar, or musician.

I mean, if you listen to SMiLE or Pet Sounds, then you'd know how I feel most of the time. I can't think of any other albums that better describe musically, what my moods are or how I feel. And it's really more about the music than it is the lyrics, though I also feel like I relate to the lyrics. The kind of music that is on there, when I first heard it, really freaked me out because I couldn't believe how well I immediately connected.

Don't get me wrong I still prefer Paul McCartney and The Beatles, but that's probably because I feel like they released more strong albums. The Beach Boys' strongest is dead easy for me to call Pet Sounds (SMiLE doesn't count as it was never released). Had The Beach Boys put out a few more strong titles, or titles that were even half as great as Pet Sounds, then maybe I'd prefer them, but that didn't happen.

But, like I said, I connect a hell of a lot better with Wilson than I do with McCartney, I just prefer McCartney's songs as far as music goes.
