Yes, John Dowland is a good lute composer, and so is Sylvius Leopold Weiss. Weiss' compositions sound more like Bach.

Hi Adrien, I have not had a chance to listen to Franz Liszt's composition, "Forest Murmurs," in depth yet in order to respond to your last message. Hopefully, soon ... but in the meantime, I wanted to send this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zS5LRRsNYZk and hope you enjoy it. Best wishes, Eva

Hi Adrien, how are you? I hope you are well. Thank you for your messages and for the music clip by Youn Sun Nah! She is extraordinarily unique and I really like her. By coincidence, I saw a clip of her in late spring/early summer, but in it she was singing a traditional Korean song (which I do not understand the words to). I much prefer her work in jazz. I'm sorry, I have not been able to respond to you yet and hope to do so soon. Best wishes, Eva

Herreweghe - or John Eliot Gardner? Problem with PH is that those CDs are so EXPENSIVE.

Hi Adrien, thank you for the link to Bach's Prelude & Fugue, No. 18. A. Hewitt's interpretation is not bad, but if PA also plays these pieces, they must be somewhere on the internet. Don't get me started searching for his stuff again. :) Best of luck with your exams.

What? You don't operate on 25-hour days? :) For when you have time to listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GgXqIf9h4s.
