Now that the statistics seem to be up-to-date, it's time to analyze my charts once again. Surprisingly little has changed during the last three weeks. On the other hand, my new listening habits - as I noted in the previous entry - don't manifest themselves in huge changes in the charts.
Most of the positions on the artist chart have remained intact. I have still obviously listened to some artists more than others. Death In June became the 7th artist to reach 300 plays. Diary of Dreams and Combichrist went past VNV Nation, whom I haven't listened to so much recently.
In the lower positions of the chart, Feindflug, Cabaret Voltaire and Einstürzende Neubauten continue their slow ascent to higher positions.
A completely new entry in the Top 50 is Talk Talk. After not listening to them at all in the summer, the urge to hear their music has been great recently. One group I've also listened to a lot recently, is This Morn' Omina who are just below the Top 50 but will probably make a comeback there anytime soon.
The Tracks Top 50 has seen more changes than Artists Top 50. I finally got my hands to the new Dupont album Intermezzo and namely their fabulous dancefloor hit Motel Lover. The track plunged straight to #20 in the charts and Dupont was the undisputed #1 on the previous weekly artist chart. Motel Lover was obviously the #1 in the tracks chart with a remarkable count of 18 plays in one week, followed closely by Rio, another high point of the album.
This Morn' Omina - Ninth Key already made a comeback to Tracks Top 50 while the group is still under the Top 50 in the Artist chart. Stukas im Visier and Soul Stripper became the first ever tracks for these groups to hit Top 50. THE GIRLS and By The Waters keep on climbing up and System of a Down got one more track in the Top 50 from their brilliant Mezmerize album.
