Haha, I had to watch it again- I love the bit where rihanna and shakira tell kesha 'Cant believe I'm not lesbon" was a smash hit, "oh really, where?" "Oh you know. The countries. All of them." [close up / shifty eyes] x

If you haven't seen it yet, the new Necki Menij Show is perhaps the best episode yet! x

Yeah, I'm dead excited about it all. The Tramlines one is mainly to see The Cribs on the Sunday, but Katy B and Deap Vally are also playing. I've heard good things about Katy B (from you included) so I'll check out her stuff. I think they're all on the same day - the website makes it seem so. £12 too! Not bad. Yeah, saw Taylor Swift last night as a birthday present to Kandie- she was brilliant. Quite amusing that I exclusively only knew songs from the latest album, her biggest hit 'Love Story' I recognised but couldn't sing along too x

I'm positive about 2014, did a lot of assessing over the last quarter of 2013 (well, it felt like the whole damn year) and have started off the year well- drinking plenty of water, keeping a journal and doing a lot of exercise thanks to an empty building at work on nightshifts/ weekends - get FIT whilst you WERK! I'm hoping 2014 is a great year for music- albums/ gigs/ festivals x

PS one of my favourite websites offering vital analysis: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WebAnimation/TheNekciMenijShow (seriously- this site is a dream, search for any show/ movie/ artist and drain your spare office time) x

Christmas was good- I'm not ordinarily a fan, so didn't mind working for double pay, but got to see Kandie in the evening so that was very nice. Also made and drank a lot of yummy eggnog this season. Did you make any new year's resolutions? "2014 is MY year/ care to share 2015?" yada yada yada x

Haha, yes! The show is actually pretty clever in places, there's clearly a fan at the helm there.... except for maybe kety perr. My favourite character has to be Medoner http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nekci_Menij_Show x

I'm on Netflix as well, though since BrBa finishes I've scarcely used it... at £5.99 its too cheap to get rid of. Thanks, glad someone is reading it! Thinking of restarting a Tumblr as a faceless anon next year. I was intrigued in your deleting of Facebook as I want to abscond all social media next year. If it wasn't for the archive of photos side to it, I would've deleted long ago. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was genuinely annoyed when they -without warning- got rid of everyone's MySpace info besides pictures as there were so many meaningful inbox messages, comments and general mementos of a pretty vivid time of my life. Fuck 'em. x

I was gutted by fate that if I went to Los Angeles two weeks after I did, I would have walked into the scene of Bryan Cranston receiving his star on the Walk of Fame. Seriously, it was a Tuesday I was walking down Hollywood Bvd, and the same time of day two weeks later, BC was there. I wouldn't have been expecting it and it would have blown my mind. Ah well... x

You're welcome! Glad to see more fans- it was such a cult thing to begin with, it was strange by the final season to see the viewership skyrocket like it did. I also thought it gotta better by the season, which was pleasant. Each season had a unique feel and Walt got darker and darker. Was very satisfied with the ending. The plane crash seemed more realistic to me- possibly because I had to wait a whole year in between the crash and the impact. I appreciated the little nods to the incident throughout the remainder of the series, the yellow ribbons, etc. I had/ have a massive soft spot for Mike, he came in like a wrecking ball. He was the character that was never meant to be (he was written in as Odenkirk couldn't make the set to film his initial part as Saul). So glad Saul is getting that spin-off show- he's a fantastic character and could really hold up a series. Its gonna be a prequel mid-point between comedy and drama.

Definite witchiness as (a) I probably only play Eminem once a year and (b) I was logged into Last.fm for the first time in ages last night too!

Thanks! I was over there for 3 weeks in total - 2 weeks in Louisiana and 1 week in California. I had an amazing time - especially in Lake Charles. I hope to go back next year, likely to be a different state entirely, but I'd love to visit Louisiana again, everyone I met there was so friendly. Are you going on holiday this year? x

Thank you, my hearing has got a lot better in the past couple of days, my left is pretty much fully functional despite frequent pressure-popping, my right ear has a case of tinnitus at the moment, but since they doubled my dose of penicillin, its healing really well :) last week if I had my iPhone on the table a foot in front of me, I couldn't hear music from it at full volume, now I can its such a relief x

The aforementioned MBV were brilliant- blisteringly loud sound... so many people left after the first song because of the sheer volume. We were about 20 rows back, I dread to think what front row was like. Shame that Crystal Castles were on at the same time, I wish they were on instead of Hot Chip, but I guess they're not as popular in Europe, maybe. One other great thing was hearing the locals join in on the choruses for Blur, that was so nice to hear. x
