So we went to see Ryan last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The venue had sold too many tickets though which made it a little cramped to say the least. Plus I don't understand why people buy tickets so they can just stand and talk all the way through the gig. That spoiled it for me really. Apparently Ryan has a chest infection so it was good that he carried on and did the gig. He's cancelled 2 gigs I have had tickets to in the past due to illness, so it was good that we managed to see this one. Poor guy though - you couldn't tell he was feeling unwell, and he gave it his all all night. He played Meadowlake Street too which was good to hear, and Let It Ride which I love! Another successful Ryan Adams gig - never disappoints. I left two songs before the end to get my ride home, but I hear there were people shouting out about how the gig was a waste of money - I think prolly the amount of beer they had drunk was the waste of money. At least that person won't be buying another ticket so it's good all round.
