Also, El Scorcho was 1 of 10 songs that my middle school band knew and we must have played it 1000 times.

I wasn't dissing at all. I was just surprised after the list of other common artists to see that. I find the Nocturnes quite soothing while working.

yay, revival of the grapeseeds :D eh, a little bit of best coast, not that much. classical is actually working out pretty well for studying, also Girls, some ambient, need more good study music! i'm falling in love all over again with "impossible germany" by wilco. you should listen to it if you haven't heard it before.

Simeon's Dilemma is a great song. I do wish I saw them on their Alopecia tour, as fond as I am of folk music I think they are better at doing the hip-hop stuff.

It was a great show despite having to go by myself, I ended up sneaking a bottle of rum in and sharing it with some people from Pennsylvania. They played a lot of new stuff, which was better live. It was a good sound mix and Why? had some nice expanded guitar solos. The crowd was great, which is unusual for a NYC show, and they played a double encore which was pretty sweet.

It's okay. I was blown away by both Alopecia and Elephant Eyelash, but when I heard Eskimo Snow I wasn't really impressed. Much slower and more folky then their other stuff. The best track is Into the Shadows of My Embrace, its really fuckin good. Definitely worth a listen.

ahhh sweet nice! i'm really jealous of you, btw hah. i go to Towson, and the student radio isnt that big, they only have an online thing that literally no one even knows about, so i doubt it'd be the same as being a dj at your school. hey! add me on facebook if you'd like.. just search for bouncingsoul10@comcast.net
