    Its hardly coming out mate, this sound has been around since the early ninties. Do you know or have you heard Everything but the girl? Their album Walking Wounded is amazing.

    Hey, happy new year man ;) I noticed you have a Lords of Acid track in your favorite tracks list. I once wrote a text that was recorded by Nikkie (Jade4U) as a vocal for a special track by an internet music group that I was in at the time (late 90's)...     Yeah, Mr. Bungle just came up when I was playing the last.fm radio for Ochre, who produces instrumental electronica with a sense of humor ("Drink Malk", "A Midsummer Nice Dream", etc.). I also quite like what I've heard of the movie sountrack album by Fantomas. My sampling of Patton's other groups hasn't made quite so immediate a connection. (Perhaps it's the "blows up" factor you sense.) I haven't seen either of the Crank movies, but I hear they're good, adreniline-fueled joyrides. Thanks for your appreciation of the avatar. Wish I could say I created it, but, frankly, I don't even remember where I cribbed it from years back. : (

    BTW, to get back to matters more mundane, not to mention safe, thanks for the tip about Mr. Bungle. I've been listening to them and you're right, they're great. Here's a tip for you: on Grooveshark, you can listen to dozens of their tracks, at full length and free: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/artist/Mr+Bungle/402535 You don't even need to sign up, though I've felt some strange compulsion to do so. LOL (I think)

    Oh, gosh, it's a long story, but I'll try to sum it up, just so I can make sense of it. A woman I chat with actually looked up the "Duck, duck, goose" article I linked to at Wikipedia, and I said I didn't know there were any infomaniacs like me where she lived, Australia. She said she was voracious for knowledge, but drew the line at things like Area 51. I was kidding her about her timidity when a strange avatar, a blinking eye in a pyramid, appeared on my page. I don't recall, but I seem to have sent out warnings to the people I care for, like you in your padded cell. From then on, it was a blank, Saturday night to Monday morning, when I woke up with a maroon headache and snipped-off bits of wire coming out of my head. I'm told that strange messages appeared on my last.fm homepage on Sunday, assuring people I was just fine. Now, I'm sure I was just off getting drunk or something, but there are some foolish folks who seem to think I was abducted or something... (continued below)

Come my friends and let's discover the great and obscure artists that are hiding out there underneath the media's view. Let's discuss them, encourage them to keep going or keep their memory alive and be inspired by them to keep it moving forward.
