After the previous compilations had much country influenced bands/songs, I wanted to do something different. So this time the theme was synth pop and 80's pop, but since that would have been pretty boring with my pretty limited collection of 80's synth pop (or would have meant a dozen or so Depeche Mode songs), I decided to put in some "scandinavian cool". Althought my favorite song in this compilation - Boulevarden by Anna Järvinen - is anything but cool.

This was also a time I started to recycle songs. At least Sex Dwarf, The Lebanon and Self Control have appeared in previous mix tapes, but that was years ago (and since I lost my previous records, I don't remeber when exactly). And at least The Lebanon is such a great song that it deserves to appear more often.
