And unfortunately it looks like C89-5 is out of action for now, seems like they've blocked access to their site from my server. I'll leave it up for a while just in case they unblock it.
This will probably be the last update for a little while, I'm happy so many people are finding it useful but there are so many stations now that I need to start thinking about making some changes to the UI to make it faster and less cluttered.
This is one of the only songs that makes me actually run away from somewhere just so I don't have to listen to it. Moronic lyrics, autotune, repetitive to the point of insanity, hardly musical at all, the title has a nonexistent word in it and would be grammatically incorrect even if it was spelled properly, it's insanely popular for no good reason, and it's by a band that used actually be pretty good before they got a taste of the money that you can make by making bland generic pop songs. So much hate.
This is the only CD I've ever bought just because of the band's name. Reminds me of my favourite little house on Latrobe Terrace in Paddington, Brisbane, and also of the place I grew up in in Paddington, Sydney.
I don't think it's cool to say that Radiohead is your favourite band anymore but they are definitely mine. I've liked them since I started listening to music and I still like their new albums even though they haven't been afraid to try new things. Picking this song because I think it's amazing how different this song is from their new stuff but you can still tell it's from them.
I don't know what music other people think I like, but this is one song I didn't even expect me to like. Maybe it's just because I'm on the internet so much that a love of dubstep is just hard coded into my brain. Whatever it is, I can't get enough of this track.
Once again I had to go to my last.fm stats to find out what my all-time most played album is, and once again I was happy with the result! Moon Safari is my go-to chill album, perfect for almost any occasion. This song always makes me happy and relaxed. (Fast forward 50 seconds, the only other video I could find for this song was ... not entirely appropriate, also this video is hilarious.)
I'm kinda phoning this one in, I don't have any particular type of music that I listen to when I'm happy. I'm using this song because I don't have any other downtempo/instrumental hip-hop on the list yet and it's something I've really got into in the last year or so. Also it's an amazing music video.
This is the first song that I remember I liked when I was really young, which is weird because I would have been about 5 when it was popular. I think it's because it was on the radio all the time and my parents had the record. There is some quality mullet action and sax offense in this video.
Not sure why I got into Justin Vernon a year ago, I guess I was sick of playing Bon Iver all the time so I started looking around for his older stuff and found some gems like this. Can't wait for the new Bon Iver album.
