Yeah there's some pretty kickass songs on there, some crap, but really who cares. Teenage Riot for christ's sake! Devo, Dinosaur jr, Dylan, Psycho Killer. BATTERY. Pretty awesome. And yeah, they should've given us Teenage Riot in the first place, but at least Kool Thing was awesome on drums. Lush is promising too, hopefully that opens some doors to some more obscure but totally awesome shoegaze/dream pop stuff. I'd do terrible things to get some My Bloody Valentine in Rock Band From what I understand they have 20 more songs that they can't fit on the disc that will be available for download FREE the day it comes out. Freezepop would maybe be in there. As far as I know theres been no Harmonix game w/o Freezepop, so I wouldn't worry.

I'm sure you've listened to Steely Dan and Bodhisattva enough to have a well formulated opinion on the matter. Here... Bodhisattva Go listen and tell me the guitar solos and the song in general isn't going to be smoking on Rock Band 2. Beats some fucking shitty Metallica or Tool garbage.

lmfao at linkin park - one suck closer. Spoonman should be pretty cool, with the whole change time signature thing. Lots of shit though.

I had to re-look up who steely dan was. I was right, and they still suck. I can hear that bodhisattva will be fun though. it's got a nice jazzy feel to it, but it's not horrible like ricky don't lose that number or hey 19.

I'll compromise and say that Rikki Don't Lose That Number and Hey Nineteen are not highlights of their career, although they are hits. But come on, Listen to Peg or Black Cow or the guitar work by Skunk Baxter on Aja. They aren't thrash metal but they are right at the top of all time album producers and jazz rock fusion. You are wrong they are not shitty. You just haven't listened enough.

Can I use my "Dream Theater" defense? Which is to say, they're amazing musicians. I just can't listen to them. In the case of Steely Dan, I'm not much of a jazz fan in general. There's too much of a punk buried in this old girl to not feel that the more compound augmented 9th chords you know the less I will like you. Kenny G might be a good sax player, but I'm spraying him with a can of mace if I ever see him walking down the street. I'd be nicer to Donald Fagan, if only because my father would kill me.

ennyg, fair enough. A simple "don't like it is cool." If I saw Kenny G in person I'd help you mace him. You should seek out what Pat Metheny said about Kenny G.
