That's really cool! Say, there isn't a chance you could introduce me to ASC, is there? ;) Also, could I get your mail and/or Skype? I've got to be honest, I know no-one that is really into my kind of music, except you. It would be really great to have someone to talk to about music, share (even more!) recommendation. What say you? ;)

You actualy spoke to ASC? That's sick! Two artists I've been listening to A LOT are Matthew Dear and Rone. Matthew Dear is the founder of Ghostly International, a great label. His latest album is ok, but Asa Breed is insane. Beautiful sound and nice lyrics. Rone is a DJ from Paris, his music is really weird and happy, yet relaxing to hear. "Beast" is really the tune of 2013 for me.

Hello, ages ago we've talked. I remember you're the one with the same musictaste as me, and really like to visualize music, right? I hope you're doing fine? Discovered any good music lately? I've been using Spotify for a while now, really impressed with the catalogue. Recently they've added ASC's Out of Sync album there. I can truly recommend that. Love to hear from you. Grt, Julian

I don't think so no - you showed me Wiz Khalifa but I checked out Nice Effort on Soundcloud. I love those vibes. Any more tracks like that as I said below, send them my way. Will get round to listening to all your recs soon; I've been away from here for some time!

http://m.soundcloud.com/machinedrum/phreshy-puff-puff-pass - this, Wiz Khalifa's When I'm Gone; anything like that, you know the style, ambientesque production etc. I'm loving that sound right now. Please don't tell me they're two tracks in a billion, I know you're the god of hard-to-frame music

Yeah man, what did you make of it? I do like it but I just think Broken Promise takes the prize. It's such a beast of an album; his best work without a doubt. My housemate felt the same and he adores Synkro.

Could never really get into Surgeon you know. I have a friend who loves that dark, raw, pure techno. Little bit *too* techno for me; I dabble more on the housey side (although I have plenty of friends who are the opposite!).

À propos de moi

my brainwaves get really excited by certain sounds in music. If some piece, effect, melody, or the way beat is programmed really grabs me, consider me in love with the given piece. I will loop it for hours if not days. Music above all has a great emotional affect on me and I suddenly play out images in my mind to what I hear. I gotta say I like how I react to music. There's nothing better than listening to a tune you fall in love with right away.

"Every facet, every department of your mind, is to be programmed by you; and unless you assume your rightful responsibility, and begin to program your own mind, the world will program it for you."

"With me, it's purely reacting to the sound. I find that sound activates my imagination. It's almost like a library of connections my brain makes with sound" -- Chris Cunningham

"Just. Fucking. Do it. Ok? Cause you can think of 95 thousand reasons why not to start a movie - that drives you crazy" -- Ridley Scott

"Before this you looked at your life as a concert-goer ignorant of music listens to an orchestra playing a symphony. All he hears is the leading melody, all the rest is blurred into a general murmur. Only those can really understand and enjoy the music who can hear the contrapuntal architecture of each part in the score.” - Bela Balazs

but above all... I LOVE a good cup of ceylon tea!
