Tragedy Khadafi has a new album out on October 4th entitled Thug Matrix Tragedy has been one of the most consistent NY artists over the last 10 years or so from when he ghostwrote for Noreaga and appeared on the classic The War Report to his last (and under-rated) album Still Reporting. This new disc again brings consistently nice tracks, the highlight being Break Bread which features another QB staple in Cormega who also features on another track produced by Alchemist. Stay Free, another Alchemist produced track appears here and is still not old. I thoroughly reccomend this album to anyone who still needs to hear that mid 90's QB sound but has lost faith in artists like Mobb Deep (Havoc also makes a couple of good appearances on the disc and contributes one beat.) Look out for the tracks produced by the up-and-comer Scram Jones
