Hi. I love music. My taste is in a way quite strange. There was a time when I was a rock-elitist, till I realised that made no sense at all and that actually I love a bit of everything. Since embracing the full world of music I have been sucked even further into its delightful spell.

To me, music has to have a few different things. It needs a strong rhythm (if it's groovy - I'm in, if I can dance to it then even better), powerful melody, interesting use of music and instrumentation and a clear emotive backdrop (doesn't matter what the mood is - it just needs to really have one). Get enough of all that shit and I'm in, though I'm sure you could find stuff that ticks those boxes that I don't like and indeed stuff I like that doesn't exactly fit those boxes. Either it grabs me or it doesn't but I spend a lot of time trawling through music to try and find stuff that tweaks my understanding of what I love.
