Where've you read that Fujieda likes "post-rock" bands? Tried looking for some interviews but couldn't find any in English. Cheers

Plus-Tech Squeeze Box teamed up with the vocalist Tomomi Matsuda to form a new project called Tropico Q. They do piko piko versions of classic rock tunes. Check them out:

Holy cow that is NUTS! Great idea. I wish I had known about it sooner. Not sure if I can come up with a 30 sec ad in time for this tour but it is an excellent suggestion and something to think about for future tours. Thanks!!

It would be AWESOME if you came to the show. I am probably going to hold the 2nd Toronto show at Whipper Snapper Gallery and make it all-ages. WSG has poor sightlines and the sound system isn't the greatest but it can be a shitload of fun. I saw Japanther there last night. Anyhow, seriously hope you come out. Hang out with the bands and eat dinner etc.

Wow, I really appreciate that! Honestly, I had not even heard of Shiroi Asa, and as I proceeded to Google the name, I quickly ran into a Mediafire link, so here I am, listening to three new songs by one of my very favourite bands. It's a loooong time since I had the pleasure of hearing something new by them, so it's a big occassion. As such, it's no need for you to upload, but I'd appreciate it if you ever got hold of the Windy Sunny Friday release and would bother to help me out with that one, and I'll do the same for you. (I'm supposing you don't have it?) Thanks a bunch!

Japan was awesome!! How could it not be? hahaha. It was my 20th trip to Japan within the last 3 years but it's still a blast b/c of the great shows i get to see. Swan Song Council was absolutely amazing. The show on the 31st was probably the most fun I ever had at a concert. JUGONZ, Sorrys!, the mornings, FAR FRANCE, SuiseiNoboAz, Mahiruno and mothercoat!! Holy shit did mothercoat ever kick my ass!

about tess are ok but it''s the other bands that make Swan Song such an immensely dope countdown to the new year. グーミ are playing this year. Fuck yeah! I've had the new 百蚊 album since July. It is unbelieveably awesome. I got an advance copy from Ian a day before the band did. I also kept my promise of not leaking out the album except for putting "ストレス" on a mixtape for friends. The CD has been on sale at 百蚊's live shows since July but the official release is in a few days (Oct 1). Buy it! The CD is worth it's weight in platinum.

I can't say I've had much luck buying music from places other than the big stores. Of course I also can't speak much japanese so if you do or if you have someone who can help you that might work. Also try contacting the band directly and they might be willing to sell it to you themselves.

Actually, I had come across Paris Match before but never listened to their music. They sound really intriguing and I'll check them out ASAP. (managed to get their latest album). Oh yeah, if you like RADWIMPS, definitely check out SOUR who have a similar more mature/less rock type sound. Latest Cd was produced by mito of Clammbon. The band is getting a lot of buzz even in the US due to their PV for 日々の音色 though they've been around for awhile
