Things are about to get really bad in Britain soon, in the last election we elected a right-wing government who pretended to be in the political center (our center is much more left-wing than your political center). We are going to be going through pure intense spending cuts and tax rises, it is going to be pretty bad (at least our government is happy to tax our rich). They like to say the cuts are necessary but it all us ideologically driven. Maybe if Scotland is smart we will give the pro-independence party a majority in the election this year (Scottish people did not vote at all for the current government). I am going to place in Greece called Malia, which is notorious cause only British teenagers go there, as a place for sun and cheap alcohol. I might die there from alcohol poisoning.

But university/college is free in Scotland to all members of the EU (except England), considering budget cuts, that may change soon, but won't effect me. Last year in England they raised they limit for tutition fee's to £9000 a year, but Scotland is all good. I would never accept an American style uni-free market, (it would be suicide for any politicians to try and make it that way). Europe and America are a world apart (The way American politics is going is just scary, I am genuinely worried about your nations mental health). I am not too young to drink, just too young buy, according to the law, every child in Scotland drinks. Summer is going to be shit bbecause of my work experience job. Until I go to Greece in early August with half my year from my old school, two weeks of constant drinking, it is going to be great.

I need to get job, my student loan/pocket money isn't enough. Although I have got a summer job in a lab, but it is a pure trek away and in a real dodgy area. But I need the money to pay for a holiday abroad. How much do you get for spitting? Sounds like such easy money. I haven't being doing much, I got banned from the university student union, (apparently 17 year olds aren't allowed to buy alcohol), so I haven't been doing much, I'm 18 in the summer, so it will get better. My easter holidays just started so hopefully I will do something fun. But i am going to be constantly studying for next two months, so I can't have too much fun. I haven't been to a gig in pure ages, I don't know anyone with good music tastes.

I am currently studying Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, but I also have to maths. The maths is easy, but some of the engineering stuff is quite confusing, probably cause I haven't bothered trying to learn it, but by teh exam I should be ok. I am really glad I no longer have to do English I truly despise writing. Done anything exciting recently outside the college world?

I am hoping to move out my house next year (in two years I should be moving abroad as part of my uni course). I haven't been to school in just under a year. I hated so much I left. Uni is ok, course isn't too difficult, need to start studying for exams soon though. What you studying at college?
