P.S. Actually, at one point I thought walking on the water meant Chaunce was almost holy, since that's sort of the next step after presidency. haha. Because I doubt he ever had thoughts of dying because he didn't have the ability to think in abstract terms. But hey... to interpret it this way and tie it to my journal... It works. :) thank you.

The ending had me so.. I couldn't believe it, because I read a book in which a secondary character being watched throughout the book walked into a pond and only his hat was left floating. This was a beautiful ending, "Life is a state of mind" and all. I could go on bullshitting about my opinion, but I'll just say the whole plot blew my mind, but only in nice ways. Nice, quaint ways.

P.S. Never knew that they called her 'Joan of Arc' in English. To me it's Jeanne d'Arc. I happened to watch a movie about her and briefly touch on her case in some book... aeons ago.

So, I am watching Being There at the moment... First ten minutes, and they've already used two of Erik Satie's Gnossiennes! I am excited. I like the 'quiet' mood of it so far, and Peter Sellers looks great with that sad face. Oh my! He's the one from... Kubrick's '..The Bomb'. I did not even recognise him without the mustache.

You might wonder if there is something more to her story than you know, maybe you should see what her life might teach you. You might.
But she was only 17 when she became a hero for her country, you're probably too mature and hip to make the mistakes she made.
