Music and Emotions

Does anyone find that specific songs are especially good at arousing emotions. Listening to classic rock i know there are a lot of songs like this, but my the two most powerful for me are Boys of Summer by Don Henley and Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. I've always found it something interesting to think about becuase music dictates much of my life. I live for certain bands and artists so its very important to me.

What songs for you, classic rock or any genre, evoke the most emotion for you?

some other powerful bands are (and to just add some connections)
crosby, stills, nash, and young
The Beatles
John Lennon
other Eric Clapton primarily Derek and the Dominos
Elton John
Derek Trucks Bandmy personal favorite band
Pink Floyd
There are a lot i haven't listed, and a lot of bands i wouldn't put in this category, like i love Led Zeppelin but they don't evoke emotion like these bands/artists do. Does anyone else feel like this about music?

I forgot to explain damnit. Iron & Wine - listening to this stirs a feeling of peace and almost makes me want to cry from a happy feeling. Not sad crying, happy/joy crying. Weird. Temple of the Dog - Very emotional album to begin with. Great album to reflect upon and just relax to. BB King and Robert Johnson - the blues is the most emotional genre, of course I have to include at least two of these guys. BB King's guitar speaks for himself, while Robert Johnson is one of the earliest pioneers whom reflected the emotions of Americans during his time period, and has somehow remained relevant in today's world. The White Stripes - some songs just make me want to jump around, others give me a nostalgic feeling. Its like a mixed bag of emotions wrapped up into one song most of the time.
