I'm guessing you've had your TG, West Pole, fix then already.. ): ***jealous*** I'm thinking I'd like to buy the vinyl for my "going away" party in August (when I'm moving to Germany..) and thought that would be a excellent time to hear the album for the first time and on vinyl! ***drools*** Too perfect! So tell me! Tell me! What is your fave? ;)

Odd. I clearly remember there NOT being an article on the site. Looks like you're right, though. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh! Which reminds me, if you speak Dutch then I suppose you know what Anneke is saying in the song that starts off with her speaking Dutch on the album Home? (:

I would like to go away too, but I don't know if I have enough courage to leave everyting. How many years have you been in the NL, if I can ask? Is it difficult to learn Dutch for us neo-latin languages speakers?

eheh, you know, in this period I'd really prefer to be dutch or from another more civil country :(

Hééé! En fait, c'est plutôt rare de voir quelqu'un qui a des charts relativement éclectique qui me conviennent. Français de surcroit. Du coup, tu en penses quoi de ce West Pole?

I figured that I would order West Pole from the gathering shop and find Always on amazon.com. That's where I've done a good deal of my music shopping seeing how it's nearly impossible to find good foreign music anywhere here.. Thank God for moving to Germany! (: Oddly enough we had a place to buy music from, Tower Records, that would carry the GATHERING but they went out of business several years ago.. And even their selection was limited and quite high. I believe they had Sleepy Buildings and How to Measure a Planet. Never Mandylion or If-Then-Else. I do believe I found Souvenirs and Nighttime Birds there by chance.. There were like a copy of each, and I snatched them. Being from "Nashville"- music city USA .. I'm sure no one wanted them anyway. Music city USA is a lie-- it's only "pop country" here. And for the "youngins" mostly pop/rock alternative. ick.

I always wanted Always! I've heard a few off of it, but I don't own it. It's the one (other than the newest) that I lack. I hear it was better than Almost a Dance.. However Always was hard to locate in any store around where I've grown up.. So, I should order it online! And the newest obviously! Complete my collection! And TY very much for the youtube link! It was very lovely indeed. She'll always be my favorite vocalist.. Just wish her newest project had the "awe factor" of TG! :(

TY! (: and, I knew TG wasn't originally fronted by Anneke. I have Almost a Dance and it's a decent enough album. TG has certainly evolved from being a band that toured with Morbid Angel to what they are now. But from Mandylion all the way through (till The West Pole obviously, being without Anneke), TG kept releasing unique and amazing records. And they continue to without Anneke in which I guess isn't the end of the world seeing how they started out that way. (Granted, the CD's weren't as good before..) But the new one proved me wrong. Nevertheless, I'm beyond envious of you for getting to see Anneke solo in a living room!! I'd love to hear her covering Ben Harper.
