… today I'm seeing World/Inferno Friendship Society for the first time AND apparently doing a photoshoot with them. I tried calling their tour manager yesterday but no answer, I don't know if they were still flying over from Germany. I'm not good at doing things on 'a wing and a prayer'. I tried to call my friend who I'm staying with in Brighton, her husband answered and we had a chat. They had horrendous hangovers and she was apparently lying on the bed rocking back and forth. I told him what time I was arriving and he said 'ok' - so I have no idea how I'm getting from the station to hers. It's all so UP IN THE GODAMNED AIR!

Recently I got back in touch with my younger cousin, Curtis (he's about 7 years younger than me I think), and we're surprisingly quite similar in our music tastes. I'm trying to persuade him to get his booty together and get his ass from Ipswich to London for the World/Inferno Friendship Society show - he's a big fan of The Dresden Dolls and when I told him that Brian Viglione is drumming he was very interested. Then I showed him the documentary on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xcz4GKbTaxI and he wants to come. I doubt he'll get his sheckles together though, which would be sad.

I know it will all work out but I'm a stress case at the best of times.

I can't WAIT to see them - I'm seeing them on Friday too - then The Charlatanson Saturday at the Ben and Jerry's Sundae on the Common thang. The Charlatans and free ice-cream. What more could a girl want eh
