I totally agree. I'm so disappointed with this album, I really hoped it will be a little better than Bel Air but it's not. Every song on it is so boring apart from Close to the Sun, I liked it but probably it's the only song I like on this album. I slowly start to doubt that they'll record something better than Bel Air, mleh. I miss old good GA that i fell in love with :(

:( but I really like "Like Somebody"! There's not even anything else than casual radio rock.. not even a Fanman on this album :(

Actually voted for Hungary and Austria! Loved the message but he was kinda cheesy performing it hahaha. Still liked the song! And I agree, but it's the statement that counts and that's why Conchita rocks! ;) I didn't root for Sanna, she wasn't my favourite in the pre-selection - my fav was this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=680R1Gq2YYU but she came in second. Didn't think our boring ballad would come at a third place, but hey Europe you surprised me again!

Your opinion on ESC this year? :)

Haha I'm jealous! :D Close to the Sun is catchy but I kinda like it... But it's not the same GA I fell in love with. Have you seen their new album cover? When I saw it I was like: what the heck, maaan. It's like the worst album cover I've ever seen from my favourite band, I swear xD

I haven't, unfortunately :( but I'm planning to visit Norway and Sweden in a few years and I want to live in Norway so bad though. I've started learning Norwegian in December and I love this language so much, oh my god :D

Nope, I haven't. I've changed plans, I'm planning to study anglistics now, but it will happen when I finish high school, so I have like two years to go. I'm still interested in photography though. If you want, I can send you a few photos I took last summer :)

Of course, I've seen it! :D And today they've (finally) posted on their website an information about the new album and... it will be called "Offline" and will be out on the 2nd of May. I'm getting excited as hell! :D

aha, I must agree with that. Their website is a totally mess :p They were in Poland last year, in May (I was there and I've been crying a lot, haha, but that's totally a different story :p I must admit they kick ass live, holy moly! Such a wild show! :D) and they said they're recording new stuff and will visit us soon. Maybe they don't post about the new album a lot, because they want to surprise us, I don't know but I hope that the new album will be better than the last one which is the weakest one in my opinion. Anyway, I'm excited :D Back to WT, I doubt they'll record something like THOE again, it's my favourite album of them and probably will always be tbh. I'm getting used to Hydra with every listen though. I liked TU better when I heard a few songs live, maybe it will be the same with Hydra... We'll see ;) And The Black Symphony is definitely one of the best concert DVDs I've ever seen, I can watch it all the time :)

Hello! :) I'm actually a bit disappointed with this album. I expected something else, but I've got my favourite songs which I can listen to all the time. It's Silver Moonlight, Let Us Burn and recently I got into Tell Me Why. Paradise is good too, but I think I got a little bored of this song, I've been listening to it a lot since the EP came out so yeah. I was afraid of And We Run the most and I guess I wasn't the only one ;) But in the final effect I liked it, but it doesn't change the fact that without Xzibit I'd like it even more :P And what about you? Btw the new Guano Apes' album is coming out this year! :D

Oh that's cool. Yeah, She Loves Me Not is a good one. I think Code of Energy would go great live along with their newer material too.

the first pair of tickets are sold out, but they're selling more now in march. it differs a lot! I would've wished they had it in stockholm since it's like 50 minutes from where i live, but nuh-uh. they're going to have it in malmö.. that kinda sucks. but well well!

À propos de moi

"If they ever tell my story, let them say I listened to giants.
Bands rise and fall like the winter wheat,
but these names will never die.
Let them say I lived in the time of Pendulum,
crosser of genres,
let them say I lived in the time of Papa Roach."

Rock music, original scores, skydiving, basejumping, UK, Scandinavia, English football, Newcastle United, Java.

(The quote above is just a joke, based on Troy (the 2004 movie). I hope you didn't take it seriously. No one will remember these bands in 100 years. :))

Some years ago I thought my music was dead, and I only listened to original scores written for movies, but two 2007 albums (Paramore's and Amy Macdonald's) reassured me it still exists.

Mammy told me I shouldn't befriend strangers, so please leave me at least a couple of messages before sending a friend request! (stolen from summerdreamin)

I'm actually interested in exactly how much I'm listening to my favourite artists. I started from scratch in 2008 (way too late). My all-time Top Artists list would probably look like this:

1. Guano Apes
2. Papa Roach
3. Tankcsapda
4. Taylor Swift
5. Paramore
6. Zanzibar

I've never ever scrobbled a song when I wasn't actually listening to it. (Or if I accidentally did, I deleted those from my list later - I know, I'm obsessed. :)) It's sad to see that so many people are here just to scrobble their favourites as many times as possible.

Favourite artists by years:

1997 | Nirvana, The Cranberries
1998 | Guano Apes
1999 | Guano Apes
2000 | Guano Apes
2001 | Guano Apes, Tankcsapda
