Seriously! I don't even know where that came from, as I literally haven't listened to her in MONTHS. I just realized that I didn't have any of the albums on my computer though, so I felt compelled to do something about that, haha. I haven't bothered with any of the more recent stuff and I don't plan to, as it seems like she's definitely reached the point of no return. I just feel like there's only so long that you can convince yourself that shit is chocolate, know what I mean? Btw, thanks for sending your blog link along! I look forward to reading it, can't believe you'll be leaving in such a short amount of time now, xo

Thanks. I listened to Loveless some years ago, although will give it another spin. They were huge in the early nineties, although slipped away in the post OK Computer world. Have you listened to the Eddy Current Suppression Ring from Melbourne? I like their sound more and more.

From what I've gathered, Sunset Machine is an unreleased GT original...recall the title being thrown around on some forums, but still haven't heard it for myself!

Hmmm... you might enjoy Serge Gainsbourg (Histoire de Melody Nelson, 1971), Jacques Dutronc (Jacques Dutronc, 1966), Jacques Brel (a Best Of maybe, although he's from Belgium), Phoenix (United, 2000), Sebastian Tellier (Politics, 2004), Francois de Roubaix (some superb soundtrack work from the 60s and 70s), Justice (Cross, 2007), Mr. Oizo (Analog Worms Attack, 1999).

haha, forreal. we STILL haven't gotten around to watching that episode again! oh the anticipation. but at least we actually have furniture in the living room now, haha. oh the joys of moving. spacehog totally takes me back to high school. scott ford (bassist for the gutter twins/twilight singers) busted that out on his radio show awhile back, and there went the nostalgia all over again. you know the music scene is bad when you actually get nostalgic over songs that weren't even that great in the first place, haha. happy weekend, ces! xoxo

do you mean to tell me that there is more than one beet farm episode? i saw one for sure, and i have to admit that it just kinda irritated me, haha. i think that was already in the third season or so, when the show had started to annoy me. i thought dwight was funny at first, but he just started to grate on my nerves after awhile. we did watch the 'scranton party' episode last night though. one of the things that kills me the most in that ep is when michael is at the conference and he busts out his orange 'microsoft office' button-up, bahaha. gotta get me one of those. gonna watch the dundies after some more unpacking tonight!

and funny that you busted out the babes in toyland this past week, i actually had my kat bjelland moment a few weeks back! i randomly happened upon a couple clips of her on youtube (one of her trying out a new amp, and another of her dancing at an MIA concert, wha?), and it got me all nostalgic. but what's new really.

the dundies episode was one of the best forreal. i think the first gut busting laugh i got from the office was during the episode where they were making up fake illnesses, and dwight read one that was called count choculitis, bahaha. i dunno if you guys have count chocula, but it's a cereal here. i dunno, it just made me bust up. anyway, i could go for some dundies right about now. we've been busting our asses with the move all weekend, and i am dog freaking tired. so don't feel like going to work today, but i'll suck it up and do it anyway. some dundies comic relief would be right on time, maybe i'll break that ep out when i'm off work tomorrow. anyway, i hope your week is off to a good start! things are good here. so much to do, but it's coming along slowly but surely! xoxo

yeah so i'm glad you got the e-mail! i'm kinda surprised the servers even let that one through, it was so long, haha. you know, i've never actually seen the uk version of the office. like i said, the first season of the us version and about half of the second season killed me, i'm talking the gut busting tears in your eyes kinda laughter. but then it just kinda lamed out and started to feel like more of a traditional sitcom with the storylines. i thought it was funnier when it was focusing more on the sheer absurdity of office politics. you down with the dundies? hahaha, oh man. and yeah, fuck buttons is sure to be a winner, huh? oh, before i forget! here's a video of the love boat captain himself, doing that final track with kings of leon at the va beach show. http://youtube.com/watch?v=q6SEmwYgIoA sup mr tambourine man?
