...To the Beat of a Dead Horse is fantastic, perhaps even more so than Parting The Sea. I recently acquired an ancient turntable and was lucky enough to find both of their albums (as well as the EP!) on vinyl at my local record store, and I've been enjoying all three like you wouldn't believe. Great band.

Really good band with some heartbreaking lyrics. Almost a good thing the lyrics are mostly inaudible

Thank you so much! I will get right on that! And yes, I would highly recommend Titus's first album (The Airing of Grievances). It was the first Titus album I heard, and it's fantastic. I actually find it more accessible than The Monitor (mainly because of how long the Monitor is). It has some folk influences to it, but yet maintains a punk vibe as well. Awesome lyrics, too. Nevertheless, it's just as good as The Monitor.

Hey, I've been meaning to get into Touché Amoré and The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die. What should I start with? I saw your post on the it's all nice group page and saw your charts, so I figured you'd be a good person to ask. :)

i'd seen you stop by and visit my page Wyatt and i was so impressed by your charts ~ especially your love for AC! ~~ i'm very much stuck on Strawberry Jam & Merriweather at this point in time but i love the collective works of AC and i'll give the other albums more of a listen but for now it's just what moves me at the moment ~~ several friends of mine from the UK saw them recently and recorded the concert (they played 3 different times during the whole festival thing) but i'd say it came out quite clean (Shaun did a hell of a lot of work on it) ~ the exciting part is that it includes their experimentation of new material which they try out on live audiences before heading to the studio and recording (my understanding is MPP is their only album that they did not use this particular process) ~ so if your interested you can grab a listen HERE ~ track listings are a bit dodgy but if you have any questions just ask ~ nice meeting you ;)
