This Mondays The Who's new album came out. It's called Endless Wire. It's their first studio album since It's Hard in 1982.

I was rather disappointed with the overall album. The Who just isn't the same without Keith Moon or John Entwistle. Don't get me wrong, Townshend and Daltrey are amazing musicians, but it just isn't the same. It would be like trying to bring back Led Zeppelin without John Bonham. Townshend's guitar sounds as amazing as always, but Daltry's voice has… aged. Sorry, but thats the truth.
The album itself is quite acoustic for the most part. Despite having 21 tracks, the whole thing is still under an hour. I only really like a track or two. Most of them sound quite folky to me. I dunno. It just sounds like an old band trying to sound like a young band. And turns out that doesn't sound to great.
Overall… not a really great album. Pick it up if you can get a good deal on it, or acquire it by different means, but don't say I didn't warn you.
