The internet has its uses. It has many features, in fact. But most of these features are essentially pointless, if not detrimental to one's physical and mental health.

In all of my years I have discovered only one important feature that the internet has to offer.

Music.

Throughout all of the time I've spent uploading pictures, editing profile layouts, creating forums/groups, adding/removing/blocking and reporting users, flaming foes, and being flamed right back, getting hit on, insulted, complimented, stalked, harassed, ignored, accepted, and eliminated....

I realized that the only thing on the internet that has brought joy to my life is that warm fuzzy feeling I get in knowing that I have unlimited access to any/every artist, song, or album that my little heart desires.

On this...INTARNET...I've lost passwords, and made enemies. I've been publicly slandered, and I've had long-term pals completely drop out of sight - but MUSIC has never done this.

I've been cheated on via instant messenger chats. I've watched shitty online relationships of friends come on strong and die quickly.

I've had my credit card numbers stolen online, only to late discover they were being used to charge hundreds of dollars over the internet. And I've seen other people get scammed, spammed, pop-upped, and panhandled.

But music on the web...well...there's a breath of fresh air. There really is no other point in this electronic existence. Downloading audio files is the only purpose. The record companies are not liking this, but many artists, including Trent Reznor himself, are trying to redefine this era of "music meets the internet."

Honestly I just like the song. This music video is disturbing. Not sure if I really like it that much...

Listen to Always by Amon Tobin.

It's fucking fantastic if you are into the whole trip hop, downtempo sort of music.

That Brazilian is amazing.

• Jaurim - VLAD

20 avr. 2008, 16h13m

This is the band Jaurim. They are south korean (for some reason I thought it was singapore, but honestly all of those southeast asian countries are the same to me...).

Anyway, this is a music video for the song VLAD. I love this song. And what bugs me is I cannot find a download for this song ANYwhere. Not even on iTunes where I am willing to pay the silly little dollar to DL it. Bah, bah double bah. I really just like this one song. Their other stuff is cool too, but I just love this song. Lol. Ah well enjoy.

I Don't Know What To Do With My Life lyrics
I don't know what to do with my life
Should I give it up and make a new start
I don't know what to do with my life
'Cos the one I've got just tears me apart
I can't wake up in the morning
And I can't get to sleep at night
I'm not expecting things to be perfect
But a high success rate would be nice

I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life

I don't know what's gone wrong with my life
But you know I never do seem to win
Whenever I think I've straightened it out
It becomes a vicious circle again
I can't love when anyone loves me
And I can't find the someone to love
But then I start to count my blessings
And I feel I'm getting more than enough

I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life
I don't know what to do with my life

And I can't find the someone to love

This is the strangest thing. A few moments ago this song was stuck in my head and I couldn't get it out. I haven't thought of/listened to this song in almost 15 years. The last time I ever heard it, it was during my hellish near-pubescent visit to Ocean City, NJ in which my cousin Brie and I were not blessed with the luxury of driver's licenses nor being of the age to consume alcohol. Instead we sat in a beach house, wearing our poorly outdated 90's clothing, watching a certain music video that MTV would NOT stop playing on loop.

And this was it.

(Christ i cannot believe we were allowed to watch this!! hahahaha)
