garden is incredible. the lyrics to that song are some of the best i've ever heard. i'm really not into reformation, though. perhaps if the new line-up had been given a little more time to settle in, it would have been better. having said that, the lyrics are pretty unremarkable. but the von sudenfed album is mint, MES sounds really quite energised again.

My latest track has been compared to the slits, sleater kinney, the raincoats and young marble giants, so i thought you might want to give it a listen at [track artist=Nat JM]Manager[/track] Let me know what you think, suggest tracks i might like, direct me to your own or your friends' music etc

Internet ghost, do you have Tical? Because if you don't, you should have it. It's pretty good.

I just recently got into them and they just... totally rock my socks. Yes, I need to see more of quirky little music lovers like us, I'm a bit of a loner here to be honest :P Glad I found you, last.fm is such a fantastic site!

Yesss indeed. One of my all-time faves ;) Anyway it seems that our musical compatibility is very high, which is very cool!

The beats are basically leftovers from The 36 Chambers, but that also means they rule. I know not why you said RZA didn't rule. And ODB is simply incomparable. I heard that he made up ALL THE LYRICS to his 2nd album Nigga Please ON THE SPOT. As in, he just walked into the studio AND JUST STARTED SAYING SHIT. ALL CAPS. Also GZA did an amazing OBD eulogy song, All In Together Now on Grandmasters.

Yeah, on first listen I like it almost as much as This Nation's Saving Grace. I need to spend some more time with it, but first impressions are that it's fricking amazing.

Some more Fall would be sweet (I have Hex Induction Hour, Reformation Post TLC and This Nation's Saving Grace). I don't know, whichever one you like best or think I need.

I accidently sent you a cut-off version of Battle of Asgard on The Cold Vein. I've always been meaning to get a good version but I never remember when opportunities present themselves.

plus, I don't want to sound like a close-minded cat, but the vocals sound childish and boring for me as well. Battles-what's their game? Yeah, actually I heard The Fall are on their best phase, speaking of live performances. They still have things to say imo :)

Meh, fuck that math rock bullshit. I have such problems with, hm, aleatorial music and that let's be complicated attitude -as you said- really annoys me. This is why I don't get Faust or a bunch of avant garde-ish stuff too. As for Battles, yes, they have melody but the final result is even comic for me;

As for the new Battles, I tried but it sounds completely pointless and forced. Too arty for me, I guess. Oh, and I added you on RYM if you don't mind.

Haha, no dude, no! I meant they were indeed great, it's a shame I decided to choose Black Lips instead of them (don't bully me for that, I was expecting a lot from those guys). I don't know what songs they played though, not a huge fan. Hope to see them live sometime since Mark E. Smith is still full of energy et al.

Why everybody loves Battles but me? I feel weird with that. P.S.: WTF with The Fall live, although I only managed to see them playing the last two songs.

That's the only day I'm attending, actually. I'd like to see Malkmus, but it's not worth staying in Chicago for another two days.

The End of Radio is an absolute beast. I've heard it on a Peel Session before (I think it's a tribute to him) but god damn. But that's all I can listen to right now. Thanks again, fo' serious.
