Unfortunately Peter Jackson's latest film The Lovely Bones is getting panned by critics. Such a shame as he is my fave director. Anyway, I will still go see it and pick up Brian Eno's score.

No, no luck with Stephen King's IT. It's available on torrents apparently, but I don''t download from there, and as it was not released commerically on CD, I struggle to find a copy. And btw, didn't John Powell score Jumper?

Yes, I thought We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story was a very good adventure score. However, the main theme present at the start of Flying Forward In Time is a complete rip-off of The John Dunbar Theme from Dances With Wolves (i think it's a full track here on last.fm if u wanted to compare).

The Lovely Bones is released in the UK in January 2010 (next month in US). It is not an adventure movie like LOTR or Kong, but a bit more like Jackon's Heavenly creatures film. Brian Eno is doing the score, I imagine it will sound a lot like his track An Ending (Ascent), very ambientish.

Notice ur listening to Brian Eno - are you gonna be interested in his score for Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones soon? He is my fave movi edirector (not the best, but my fave) and I find all his movies have good visual images accompanied by nice audio moments.

My first CD soundtrack was Simon Birch and my latest soundtrack obtained is The Hunt for Red October. I listen to other music too but a good percentage will be related to movies and video games.

I try and keep my tags organised but Last.fm really needs to do their bit sometime in making it work well. I tag soundtracks with just their title given to the film, video game unless it's a promo or a multiple soundtrack release.
