The Calibre show will be at Fabric, so probably pricier and more of a commitment than other venues. I am guessing he will be playing other shows around the same time too. Outlook was a really awesome experience, a real treat hearing great sets on proper sound systems. Definitely stayed a bit far out from the site so that was rough. Taxis overcharged so we would end up walking an hour to and from each time either in the sweltering heat or tired and wasted at 7 in the morning. Learned my lesson for the next time I can afford to make it out. Some of my favorite times were being on the Bladerunnaz boat, watching DBridge and Commodo's sets in Mungo's Arena, and the last set with Alix Perez and Icicle - that was especially great because we ran into some friends and acquaintances from home. Kinda crazy that happened given the odds. Do you plan on ever going again, or to other festivals of that sort? I'd really like to check out Sun and Bass eventually, have you been to that?

Yes, Exit10 was awesome! Hopefully they'll do more like that in future. PSB are great, I've listened to 'Actually' countless times over the years, no guilt necessary if it's a childhood favourite ;)

i like lukid a lot because he's all about the analog/real sampling/vinyl culture. but yeah, fuck trap, it's kinda ruined the scene for me here. i was hoping it to be some short fad like moonbahton was, but it's stuck around the past year and has been expanding. i wouldn't hate on it so much if there were any decent djs/producers, but they are literally all doing the same thing. every time i go out to a show now i have to hear at least a few shitty trap sets. but enough of my rant, on the brighter side i'm really stoked for outlook and the whole europe trip- the plan is to fly into london and stay a few days there first, then take trains over on to amsterdam, berlin, prague, vienna, budapest, and down to pula. i work in architecture/interior design so i'm really excited to some cool spaces during the day then check out some shows at night. feel free to make any recommendations on things to do/see for any of those places, that would be greatly appreciated!

oh wow that's funny and surprising, i guess not many sam kdc fans are on this site. six degrees of separation is great, "truth be told" is one of my faves from him. but i've certainly been making a lot of new discoveries lately, not sure if you've checked out coleco's stuff- his stuff crosses over genres and the production is super on point. also been lurking out a lot of new vinyl and recently purchased this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzQNbqYc6H8 are you going to outlook this year? i already got my tix and will be taking a backpacking trip thru europe the few weeks beforehand, maybe i'll catch you there!

  • eat_my_organs

haha! I can teach you some general russian phrases and words, and maybe you will speak much bettet as you might think) and don't trust to translater haha)) I love MU. And yes, Spartak was the winner) they are fine right now, but I want them to play much better, sometimes I'm sad because of their games

    février 2013
  • eat_my_organs

yep, I'm in Moscow. I study here. I love football! my favourite team is Spartak Moscow, did u hear about this team? If I will talk about foreign teams, I think I prefer MU. and yes, Russian is very difficult language, but not as much as you might think. just, it has 6 cases and declination, and many exceptions that you need to remember. English is much easier. I know English very well. And I can't say, that it was hard for me to learn it. When I was 4, I knew 3 english poems, my father taught me to them. And sometimes I have many mistakes, soo...sorry for my English :D

    février 2013
  • eat_my_organs

okaay) at first, Russia is very very very beautiful country, because it has many ancient buildings, great nature and beautiful and interesting people. at second, not all of russians drink vodka :D at third, you should come and see)

  • The_Vein

yeah the fact that you listen to a bunch of different but well-chosen stuff was the reason I wrote here. since these SUPER musical compatibilities with users or my last-fm neighbours doesn't really have this relevance for me, because I rarely discover new music there. a list of songs you like and recommendent would be very awesome and I would really appreciate that (I use spotify so no uploading/downloading if I got the question right :D). ...but don't bother if you don't have the time for that. in return I want to inbox you some recommandations as well and a mix I made for Implex (my favourite dnb-producer from russia) when I have the time

greetings. yes nice taste. FSOL, Blade runner OST, Diablo OST... are some of my favourites, too. I will explore your library charts a bit. you can be sure of that. any kind recommendations?

Wipeout Pure and HD made me interested in Drum n' Bass or generally music that sounded like it could fit to those games :D At some points you list reminded me of those games :) I even have a playlist which includes Wipeout songs and others that I think would fit into them. You also have some other track/artist that would fit? ;)

  • the_richman

Thank you for the list I've listened to it a few times now :) I liked that it has some "slower" (or rather more silent) tracks :) do you know the music of the video game series "Wipeout"?
